It was an honour to welcome the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, to A Night of Solidarity at the Houses of Parliament.

His powerful speech captured what the evening was truly about: remembering the lives lost at Grenfell, standing alongside the people of North Kensington and supporting the community organisations that have done so much for local people.

The evening also showed the incredible power boxing has to unite people from different backgrounds and bring entire communities together behind an important cause.

We are extremely grateful to the Mayor for his words and support.

Now, we need that support to turn into action. Please donate and help these remarkable organisations continue their vital work throughout North Kensington.

We still need your support.

Following the Grenfell tragedy, community organisations across North Kensington stepped forward to support local people through unimaginable loss. They have remained at the heart of the community ever since, helping countless individuals, young people and families.

Boxing has always had a remarkable power to bring people together. A Night of Solidarity is using that power to unite the boxing community behind the organisations that continue to do so much for North Kensington.

But their work depends on continued support.

Please donate whatever you can. No amount is too small, and every contribution will help make a real difference.

If you cannot donate, please share this post and help us reach someone who can.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this extraordinary evening possible.

To every guest, speaker, boxer, coach, sponsor, supporter and member of the team — thank you for standing with the people of North Kensington and the organisations that continue to support them.

Putting a boxing ring inside the Houses of Parliament for the first time was a historic moment. It also demonstrated the unique power boxing has to bring people and communities together behind a shared cause.

The evening may be over, but the fundraising must continue.

Please donate if you can and help these incredible organisations continue their vital work across North Kensington. Every donation will make a genuine difference.

Yesterday, we put a boxing ring inside the Houses of Parliament for the first time ever — taking the story of A Night of Solidarity to the heart of Westminster.

As featured on BBC News, this historic moment was about far more than boxing.

It was about North Kensington. It was about remembering the many lives tragically lost at Grenfell. And it was about supporting the incredible community organisations that have stood beside local people ever since.

These charities have helped countless individuals and families through unimaginable circumstances. Now, they need our support to continue their vital work.

A Night of Solidarity is raising funds to help these organisations remain present in the community and support the people who rely on them every day.

Please donate if you can. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a genuine difference. If you cannot donate, please share this post and help us spread the message.

𝐀 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 👊🥊

GB Boxing is proud to support ‘A Night of Solidarity’, a project celebrating the unifying power of boxing and sport while raising funds for firefighters’ charities, local boxing clubs and community organisations supporting communities affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

The first event, Ringside on the River Terrace, takes place at the Houses of Parliament on Thursday 3 September, with youth boxers from North Kensington showcasing their skills in a unique boxing demonstration.

The evening will also bring together members of the GB Boxing squad as well as Tokyo 2020 gold medallists Lauren Price MBE and Galal Yafai MBE, coaches and GB Boxing Performance Director Rob McCracken CBE.

Following this, a group of boxers from clubs in north west London will visit the English Institute of Sport (EIS) in Sheffield where they will train alongside members of the GB Boxing squad.

Finally, ‘A Night of Solidarity’ will take place on Saturday 13 November 2026 at Kensington Town Hall.
