I had a spiritual experience trying my first @xianfoods, safe to say these dishes changed my life! 🙂‍↔️❤️‍🔥 it was a true definition of @iveysperfectbite.

I ordered the N1 (Spicy Cumin Lamb Hand-Ripped noodles) and the NS4 (Stewed Pork Hand-Ripped noodles in soup. Both regular spicy, no adjustments. I added some chili sauce, oil, and black vinegar to the NS4, which really elevated the flavors in the broth. They each came with a great amount of food, meat, and veggies.

They also have in house teas and a real special yummy orange soda I was a fan of. Location was clean, staff was friendly, and food came out promptly. You can order with an employee or self service screen both of which are excellent and easy.

I will be trying every single thing on this menu at one point! Lol 😂

Here’s a little delicacy I made for my pals and I in October👩🏻‍🍳 They were so supportive and loved it so much, it really propelled me to start taking my love for food to the next level❤️ recipe below!

I cooked 5 medium apples
12 oz of cranberries
3/4 cup of sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp each of ground clove, nutmeg, ground ginger
1 zest of an orange
1 tsp of salt
Let ingredients cook, liquid evaporate, get jammy, take off heat.
Added/mixed in a 1/3 of chopped walnuts after

CRUST:
1/2 stick of butter
1/3 cup of flour
1/4 cup each of sugar & brown sugar
1 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 tsp of salt
Mix all ingredients in bowl with hands, (I recommend using gloves) until clumpy

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Fill up pie crust with jam
Top off with crumble
Bake for 40-50 mins, top should be golden brown.
Let pie cool off, slice, eat 🥰

Tried @birria_landia for the first time and it did not disappoint!❤️‍🔥 Located at the Macri Triangle (L train - metropolitan/lorimer) this food truck satisfied my cravings and exceeded my expectations. Consome was full of flavor and meat was tender. Reminded me of a meal in Mexico 🇲🇽

The only thing I’d adjust is having access to a better seating area, nonetheless, this place is a banger. Affordable and delicious with lots of options.
