World IVF Day 🤍

If you’ve been through IVF, you know there aren’t enough words to truly describe it.

It’s science.
It’s hope.
It’s fear.
It’s strength.
It’s waiting.

It’s celebrating tiny victories that most people will never understand. It’s learning to hold hope and uncertainty at the same time. It’s doing something incredibly hard for a future you can’t wait to meet.

We asked our community to describe IVF in one sentence, and their answers perfectly captured the emotions that come with this journey… the beautiful, the difficult, and everything in between.

To everyone navigating IVF today - whether you’re just starting, waiting on results, grieving, celebrating, or somewhere in between; we see you.

You are strong.
You are seen.
And you are not alone. 🤍

The worst club with the best people.
Welcome to The Waiting Room Raleigh. 🤍

No matter how many months you’ve been trying, it never gets easier.

One line.

After the appointments. The medications. The tracking. The waiting. The hope you told yourself not to have this time.

And somehow, you’re expected to just move on with your day like nothing happened because “you’re used to it by now.”

The truth is, you don’t get used to disappointment. You just get better at carrying it.

If this is you today, we’re so sorry. You’re not overreacting, you’re not dramatic, and you don’t have to pretend you’re okay.

The Waiting Room Raleigh is holding space for you. 💜

This video is the perfect explanation for anyone who doesn’t understand IVF. 🐠

Everyone sees the 400 eggs and thinks, “Wow, that’s a lot.”

But anyone who has been through IVF knows that number gets smaller… and smaller… and smaller.

Eggs become mature eggs.
Mature eggs become fertilized eggs.
Fertilized eggs become embryos.
Embryos become genetically normal embryos.

And sometimes, after all of that, you end up with just one.

One perfect little miracle.

So if you’re wondering why someone going through IVF is hopeful, anxious, excited, and terrified all at the same time, this is why.

Because when you’ve fought this hard, you know that one is enough. 💕

If you’re navigating infertility, IVF, miscarriage, adoption, or any season of waiting, The Waiting Room Raleigh is a place to find women who understand—because no one should have to wait alone.

✨ The worst club with the best people.
