Had to make an official post as NOV 6th 8pm at The Crow is getting closer but very honored to have contributed music to @memymoramoji @navdeepsinghgalen Musical Comedy Variety Show titled Tomorrow is Everything and this whole theme of being on the road felt very personal to me as I’ve spent a long time driving all over California whether that’s for work or just to hang/see people and that feeling of the constant loop of driving back and forth doing it all over and over really resonated with me once they proposed it to me. @thomas_wandborg @alextaylorjazz @nicolas.gachot @iwritejazz is such an amazing team it’s going to be a great show and will do more posting about it in the next few weeks #losangelestheatre #newmusic #composer #development

“Somebody Real” ✨

This song comes from my own experience navigating a world where there can be pressure to fit in and play the game. It’s a reminder to stay true to yourself, stand by your values, and not lose sight of what really matters.

With GRAMMY® voting now open, I’m proud to share that “Somebody Real” was submitted for consideration in Best R&B Solo Performance, Best R&B Song, and the Harry Belafonte Best Song For Social Change Award.

A big thank you to @betovargas and everyone who was involved in bringing this song to life, as well as to everyone who has taken the time to listen and connect with its message. 🤍

Five works. Eight category submissions. 🙉

I was told early on that versatility could work against me in this industry. Years later, I’ve learned to see it as one of my strengths. From my own artist projects to collaborations, global music, and songs written for film, these submissions reflect the different worlds I get to create in.

Proud of the work. Grateful for the people. Excited for what’s next.
