I’m finally able to write this without crying…

Dear @scarolina_stuco ,

For the past five years, you’ve been more than just an organization you’ve been my home, my support system, and my StuCo family. You gave me a place where I could be unapologetically myself, and because of you, I found the courage to take a leap of faith moving schools and finding my family at @mauldinstuco that I will forever be grateful for. You challenged me when I needed it, pushed me when I didn’t even realize I needed it, and shaped me into the person and leader I am today. To be a leader it takes a village to be an autistic leader It takes a state, and I am so blessed to have a whole state that has supported me From the historic steeples of the Lowcountry, to the shag clubs of the Grand Strand, to the mountain tops of the Upstate because of YALL SCASC, I’ve found my voice, my purpose, and my passion. While my student council chapter may have officially closed this past weekend, my story with you is far from over. As well to watch two of my 2 student council kids to take the initiative and have the strength and courage to run for office at my last conference was a true blessing and to be inducted into the Terry McCoy Leadership Hall of Fame! And as always “underneath the palmetto moon WE LEAD!” 💙🤍💙🤍

closing my scasc chapter📖

for four years, this organization has helped me grow my passion for leadership, and it has given me the chance to accomplish things I never thought possible.

i’m sad this was our last state, but I have billions of memories to keep with me and I thank my family, advisors, and stuco family for giving me those.

Being elected as your SCASC Parliamentarian is an honor. SCASC has given me friendships, memories, and opportunities that have shaped me in so many ways, and I’m incredibly grateful. Thank you to everyone who supported, encouraged, and believed in me along the way. I can’t wait!

These past four years being involved in SCASC has brought so much light into my life. The friendships I’ve made, the memories we’ve created, and the lessons I’ve learned will stay with me forever and always. The people and connections I’ve gained along the way make this goodbye so incredibly hard.

A year ago, I had the honor of being elected as your SCASC State Secretary, and serving this organization has truly been one of the greatest privileges of my high school career. 🫶🏻

To my amazing fellow officers—thank you for a year full of laughter, hard work, and unforgettable memories. I’m so grateful for each of you and everything we accomplished together.

SCASC taught me to Do It Right, Make It Big, and Give It Class, and that’s something I will carry with me long after this chapter closes.
