HIPS DONT LIE🕺⬇️

I’m not here to sell you some internet bs! I tell the athletes I train every day that if you want to be faster if you wanna be more powerful, your hips need to be strong and mobile.

You need to be training your hips like every other major muscle group in your body. Think about how often you train chest back or legs. You need to incorporate hip days/exercises as well.

Comment "HIPS" to be sent a mobility workout!

A look into one of our basketball performance sessions.

@izzy2shifty__ and I have been steady working together to ensure she’s ready for her first year at elms college.

➡️ Swipe through the workout — dm “OFFSZN” for a FREE first session.

Pin squats teach you to create force from a dead stop. So, think about attacking after a screen or taking off on a fast break. Then when paired with seated box jumps it turns strength into explosiveness. Leading to faster takeoffs/first steps.

Basketball is played one leg at a time. These build balance, coordination, and force through each leg so you’re more explosive pushing off either foot. The stronger each leg becomes on its own, the better your chances are at creating separation between you and the defender.

3-Point Step Up + Single Leg Plate Hops

➡️ Next exercise — dm “OFFSZN” for a FREE first session.

These teach your body to change direction without losing speed. We combine basketball footwork with explosive movement so your body learns to react the same way it would during a game. You want to be able to sell the move AND explode afterwards.

Plyometric Block

➡️ Next exercise — dm “OFFSZN” for a FREE first session.

This interval block keeps the engine ready so when the season starts you’re prepared to play hard from the opening tip to the final whistle. Conditioning should prepare you for YOUR sport. Sport specific conditioning is key.
