@tennessee_chair_rescue and I found the cutest shop in downtown Maryville. @j.danforthmercantile has a wonderfully curated store with so many beautiful things. When I heard they carried @frauleinboots I knew I needed to check them out. I’ve got my eye on the green pair. 💚 We treated ourselves to a pan by @smitheyironware. We will definitely be back.

The third annual Scottie Scavenger Hunt has begun in Downtown Maryville!

Now through October 25, #SpotTheScottie and spread orange and garnet Maryville College spirit throughout town as we count down to the magical Homecoming weekend on campus, October 23-25. Here's how to join the fun:

🐾 Pick up a postcard at one of the partner Pick-Up/Drop Off locations: @viennacoffeecompany at MC (inside @claytoncenterforthearts), @neighborlybooksmaryville, and @j.danforthmercantile.

🐾 Spot the Scottie at 4 participating locations and earn a paw print stamp at each location (tag @downtownmaryvillealliance and @maryvillecollege to share your adventure).

🐾 Turn in your completed postcard to get a prize, learn more about Homecoming weekend, and sign up to play at the Little Scotties Kids Area on Saturday, October 24, from 10 am – 1 pm in Scot-Land.

🐾 All completed entries will also be entered in a raffle for fun MC themed prizes.

Our Liv & Wood Co. team had the pleasure of helping bring the Fräulein boot launch to life at The Landmark, beautifully put together by J. Danforth Mercantile.

From passed bites and drinks to keeping guests taken care of throughout the evening, we loved being part of such a fun local collaboration.

There’s something extra special about getting to serve events right here in our own community and working alongside other small businesses who put so much thought into every detail.

Cheers to good people, great brands, and a really fun night in Maryville! 🥂🤎

THE PEACEFUL SIDE // Maryville, Townsend & Walland are no secret to Knoxvillians, but this corner of the foothills is changing fast, with new spots opening what feels like every month.

We spent the day rediscovering old favorites and a few fresh finds, from Scouted Maryville’s modern-day marketplace @j.danforthmercantile to an afternoon on the 18-hole course at @wildlaurelgolfcourse.

Read our Insider’s Guide to the Foothills and beyond at the link in bio.
