We all started somewhere. You never know who, when, or where your journey of self discovery will begin, but when it does, keep going.

I think it’s safe to say none of us knew where this little hobby would take us. Sometimes, all it takes is one random run with a group of strangers to completely change the way you see life.

Happy run anniversary to our very own @jaaleen. It’s been amazing watching you blossom into the captivating soul you are today.

So lucky we get to witness it and even luckier to have you in our little family.

I put my producer hat on for fun this summer, giving a little piece of myself to @takethebridge, a race series that has meant so much to me ever since I got lost in DTLA trying to locate checkpoints at my first TTB a few years ago.

While it is sad to say goodbye to TTB, I'm so proud that I could support its last Los Angeles hurrah. As an athlete, volunteer, and producer, TTB has consistently empowered me to be the best and baddest version of myself, to never shrink myself for other people's expectations.

Of course, the only day it rained all summer was the day we had a race across the entire backbone trail... but despite unrelenting weather & some power tripping troopers, nearly 20 teams put on their game faces and gave it their all.

I am so grateful to Darcy for letting me support her on this journey, and to everyone else who pitched in to fill the day with light, even through the storm clouds.

This was a reminder of what Community is about. Congratulations to everybody who ran, yall crushed it.

This weekend, @_sendingflowers and @howlinrays kicked off a 10K collab to support children in need @feedthechildrenorg and it was an amazing day. 🥹

If you know me, you know slow is my bread and butter. I may have graduated to the middle of the pack, but sweeping is a job I take seriously and one I do with a lot of pride and honor. Leading the back of the pack meant helping pace the group, keep us all moving, and making sure the people in the very back had the encouragement, support, and friendship they needed. 💖

If there’s one thing I’m wildly passionate about, it’s making sure people never feel like they have to apologize for where they are in their running journey. Community means everyone is welcome: every pace, every experience level, every version of what showing up look like to someone. It’s one of the biggest reasons I love @_sendingflowers. There’s room for you here, exactly where you are. Doing any amount of running is an incredible thing in itself, and you deserve to feel proud instead of apologizing. 👏🏼

And our group absolutely SLAYED. The runners at the front of our group were amazing about keeping an eye on everyone when I dropped back to check in, and we really were all in it together. We made it back, we had good vibes doing it, and I couldn’t be more proud of everyone giving it their all on a saturday for a good cause. 💖

Proud of this local community, proud of myself, and proud of our running community as a whole.
