We want to invite you to our upcoming art show against data centers on October 10th at 7:00 PM at the Historic Weston Gardens! It will be a PACKED night of community and art; we hope you can make it!

Why are we having it at Weston Gardens? Weston Gardens is RIGHT BY where Fort Worth City Council is allowing Black Mountain and EdgeConneX to build their $10 billion HYPERSCALE data center in Fort Worth. It will literally sandwich a 3-block neighborhood between two hyperscale data centers. Black Mountain’s data center project is going to be one of the largest in Texas. Come out and support the data center fight!

Over 15 art pieces from local artists will be featured in various mediums, such as canvases, digital prints, and more! We’ll have interactive art, a photo booth, and block printing! (We will have blank shirts there, or you could also bring shirts/materials to print on) We will also have 3 live performances.

@hyphenspace_ and @alyx.ng & @vibrantventurer have been a foundational part of our DAAART community. From Alyx and Vivian being our founding board members, to DAAART being there when @thebobaplug got a storefront and launched the matcha phenomena of Hyphen Space, to both our communities continuing to invest in Asian Texan artists; we are so grateful for Hyphen, Alyx, and Vivian’s existence and their impact on DAAART and our greater DFW community. Hyphen holds a lot of cherished memories and markers of growth for us, and we are so excited to celebrate one of their last events here in their first storefront. Thank you for all that y’all have done to help us grow.
