Spend a day in the life with the Theta Tau Chapter at Michigan AKA Day at the Capitol where we learned about voter registration, spreading education and the ways we can get involved in making a difference in the community we live in.

Today is the last day of Mental Health Awareness Month, but that doesn’t mean to stop centering your life with healthy energy. We wish you peace, love and serenity. #mentalhealthawareness #detroitrenaissancepearls #akagreatertogether

🌳🌍 On our Regional Day of Service this past Saturday, April 27, 2024, the spirit of community was truly in the air! Undergraduates, graduates, and local groups across the Great Lakes Region put their hands in the dirt and their hearts into enhancing our environment. Together, we planted over 590 trees, surpassing last year’s efforts by 80 trees!

We’re so proud of this growing commitment to our planet—each tree planted helps nurture the earth and our communities. Thank you to everyone who joined in and made a difference! Let’s keep this green wave going! 🌱💚 #RegionalDayOfService #PlantingForTheFuture”#RegionalDayOfService #GreenImpact #akagreatertogether #aka1908 #akagreatlakesregion

This weekend we proudly supported our sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated ®️ Eta Upsilon Omega chapter’s 40th “Hats Off to Moms Scholarship” Gala. The event honors mothers in the Saginaw, Michigan community. We enjoyed the event and found joy in fellowshipping with the chapter and Great Lakes Regional Director, @gwenlkirtley . Congratulations to Ms. Kimberly Horne, President and the women of @aka_etaupsilonomega on an amazing event.

The ladies of Beta Eta and Delta Psi Omega celebrated National Arbor Day in collaboration with farmer T.C Collins of Willow Run Acres. In recognition of the Enhance our Environment initiative, we worked together to plant several apple trees in the Ypsilanti-area community gardens to continue promoting sustainability and provide fresh produce💕
