In the past I have taken these moments for granted. But now I find myself so grateful for just having the time to stop and watch the day come to a close, whilst reflecting on all that has been achieved. To more weekends like this over the summer.

Thanks for the flic @jack.tries.hard

Couple of great day-trips enjoying mileage in the 7s and a mini-mission to tick off the entirety of the Medusa Falls area (one page done...).

Route in this photo is "Slither" (7a+ ✅) - a cool bouldery start into a techy slab. Couldn't resist the opportunity to get @gabrielsaccol to snap a photo of the new @blocfit tee in action.

Thanks for the good times @mahkopp @patsmcgraw @jack.tries.hard @gabrielsaccol @tang_outside @bjdbroad

Had to post this separately, Jack enjoying the view over Froggatt from the last section of Valkyrie HVS 5a.

Still amazes me that this was Jacks second time leading trad and he smashed the route out like it was nothing and even had time to stop for a no hands rest and to enjoy the view. Thats what you get for taking strong sport climbers out to gods rock. A mix of run out placements and technique galore.

Darren Lunn and @jack.tries.hard on Valkyrie *** HVS 5a at Froggatt Edge

Was amazing to watch Darren lead the first pitch of Valkyrie starting with the awkward crack then a traverse to the stance on the arête, he felt like continuing onto the second section but had to bail near the no hands rest.

Up came the strong sport climber who absolutely smashed this route, obviously found the no hands rest and may I say did it in style. Then smashed out the final section with barely any gear but still shouldn’t deck was amazing to witness these guys. Especially Jack saying this was his second ever lead.

The Bowderstone | The Rib | "6a+"

This was back in September when I got to spend a few days playing on The Bowderstone. I remember walking up to it and feeling in awe of how big this bloc really was. We needed a decent warm up before jumping onto Picnic Sarcastic (7a+) so we picked up the guide we downloaded and chose The Rib - 6a+/v3 as our first climb. Now usually v3 is a fairly simple warm up for @jack.tries.hard and I, however we were very quickly reminded that some problems truly are sandbagged to shit 🤣

I've had to speed up certain parts of his video because it took me longer than a minute to actually send 🤦‍♀️ I can safely say I've learnt not to take a grade seriously, but rather to study the line and try to take in the moves/holds in my own perspective. Thankfully a lot of people on UKC have argued that its more likely to be a 6c/v5 so my grade pride hasn't been hit too hard 😅

This was Christmas Eve!!! A lovely, sunny picture taken by @jack.tries.hard last week. Personally, I’m not a big fan of this cold weather so this was a welcome change 😂
.
‘Storm Warning’ was my first 7c+ around 4 years ago now. Haven’t managed to get back for the project yet but hey, the rock will always be there 😊
I always look so confused 😂
