Some places don’t need dressing up. You walk in and the story is already there.

This episode is for Mulberry Hill. The books still on the shelves, the paintings on the walls, the saddles by the door. A home built by people who made art their whole life, and you can feel it in every room.

We came to shoot. We left feeling like guests.

Thank you @nationaltrustvic for opening the doors and trusting us with a place this special. Looking after homes like this means the rest of us still get to dream inside them.

The Victorian Pride Centre is proud to be hosting this extraordinary photographic exhibition of tableauxs which reflects the powerful collaboration between two artistic practitioners Gerard O’Connor and Marc Wasiak which commenced in the mid-1990s. O’Connor a film maker/photographer and Wasiak a set designer/prop-maker are both acclaimed in their fields and together they constructed complex and large-scale images exploring the peculiarities of human behaviour and our changing social mores as they explain;
Our work takes the form of carefully constructed, highly detailed photographic tableaux. The themes we explore include the sensuality that lies beneath the coolest exterior; the hypocrisy of the pious; the corruption of the powerful; the violence seething below the veneer of civilisation; the calamities that befall the most rational plans. We explore and celebrate the diversity of humanity across age, gender, sexual orientation and cultural background presenting the chaos of interactions in aesthetically sophisticated but narratively unexpected

Celebrating sustainability, style and heritage with the most glamorous and fun shoot inside The Rippon Lea Mansion with an incredible team of people.
This shoot is to support the @nationaltrustvic and clothing sale which helps to raise funds to conserve and protect Victorias history.

This year we went a little more bold than the last, lush layers, drama and heritage glamour.
