Last night, I had the great honor and pleasure of performing in Sarajevo for the very first time, at the gala concert “Bridge of Friendship.” 🇧🇦🇷🇸🇺🇸🇷🇴
This special concert represents a collaboration between the USA, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the countries of the Western Balkans. It was a great honor to represent Serbia and be part of such a beautiful and meaningful evening.

It was a particular pleasure to perform with the Pitești Philharmonic Orchestra from Bucharest, under the baton of Maestro Emir Nuhanović. 🎶

It was wonderful to reunite with old friends, as well as to meet new colleagues and wonderful people.

A heartfelt thank you to the organizers for their trust, the beautiful energy, and an unforgettable evening. ❤️

Sarajevo, thank you! I hope to see you again soon. ✨

@jackldsm here is singing
“Acerba Volutta”! This aria captures a love so deep that it becomes obsession and awakens feelings of jealousy, anguish, self-torture and desire.
You communicate the feeling of the aria so well. Taking what's on the score and to make it exist on the stage! I wish you all the best with your auditions! Bravissima! ❤️

A huge congratulations to everyone onstage and behind the scenes for Taconic Opera’s “Carmen!” What a great show and a lovely day I had cheering on colleagues/friends yesterday! Beautiful singing and fantastic story-telling. Also, a special shout-out to the pumpkin martini at Horsefeathers in Tarrytown. Another not-to-be-missed experience this Fall! 💃🏻🎃👌🏻😂 - Congrats to all.

I cannot wait to sing the Saint-Saëns “Requiem” with Taconic Opera in March. Check out www.taconicopera.org or my website for ticket info! See you there!

#SPOTLIGHT on the cast of CARMEN🌹

Jacqueline Ledesma as Mercédès / Carmen (cover)

Jacqueline Ledesma, a striking Argentinean-American mezzo-soprano, is swiftly emerging within the world of dramatic opera. She has enthralled audiences as Maddalena in Rigoletto and brought depth to the role of Amneris in Aida. Her repertoire has an impressive range; from the fiery Azucena in Verdi’s Il Trovatore to the witty Marianna in Donizetti’s Il Signor Bruschino and the vivacious La Ciesca in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi. Ms. Ledesma’s portrayal of The Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors was highly acclaimed. Ms. Ledesma has performed with the New York Opera Conservatory, the Bronx Opera, New Jersey Lyric Opera, The Athena Music Foundation and The New York Dramatic Voices Program.

As a sought-after soloist, Ms. Ledesma has lent her commanding voice to Fordham University Chorus’ performances of Mozart’s Coronation Mass and Requiem. Recently, she won the 2021 Medici International Music Competition and was named a finalist in the Osaka International Music Competition.

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗚𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗔!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so thrilled I got to see Jacqueline Ledesma @jackldsm SLAY her first Azucena (Il Trovatore) last night! Not only did she sing beautifully, but she was so committed characteristically, expressive, and just made art from beginning to end 🥲

Jackie and I met during our run of "Gianni Schicchi" (first slide of Zita & Ciesca 😁) with @bronxopera and I am so grateful ❤️🙏. She compliments my stage crazy in the most fantastic ways possible 🎭. I just wish we could sing side by side more, but we sing many of the same roles 🫠🥲😅 (We also compliment each other spiritually, my being a Scorpio ♏️ and her being a Taurus ♉️😁)

I can't wait to continue watching her on her operatic and artistic journey and beyond! What a thrill to be your friend, LOVVVVE ❤️🫂💋💘
