@islandtriathlonfestival is fast approaching (Sunday week) & we have some perfect panic training sessions this weekend!
Saturday we head to Redhead Beach for our legendary cycle hill loops up Redhead Road & back via Fernleigh Track. 90 minute cycle with swim following as below!
Our 1st ever Redhead Surf Swim is on 8:30am & we plan on doing 6 x 300 - 500 metre swims (faster swimmers go further). Experienced swimmers only for this! * Pay for Cycle Get Swim Free *
Sunday Horseshoe Beach Newcastle is a beauty - 8am swimmers do a 400 - 500 metre loop warm up then undertake a longer loop swim (1.5 - 2km). Our Rookie Swim Clinic is perfect for anyone nervous in the open water! Coach @spottyddog is on his SUP looking after the slower swimmers. We swim parallel to shore only 10 metres off the beach & do reps of 200 - 500 metres depending on your ability! We will do a pre swim drone safety flyover!
