Rehearsals for Song of Stars Cantata are underway ✨

Our international cast of singers spent the last two days at the Scottish Music Centre in Glasgow rehearsing. Choir director Maciej Granat led the a cappella choir through Les Barker’s words and my music to life.

After months of preparation, it’s almost time. On Saturday the story of the Pilot, the Little Prince, the Fox, the Flower and the Snake comes to the stage for the very first time.

Meet our Pilot ✈️✨

Portuguese baritone Philippe Eugusyene (@philippeugusyene.baritone) takes on the role of the Pilot in Song of Stars Cantata: A musical tale based on The Little Prince. It’s his crash in the Sahara that sets the whole story in motion.

A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, Philippe works across music, theatre and storytelling, and here he shares a few of his favourite moments from the score.
