one year ago we welcomed our closest family & friends to @lonemountainranch with huckleberry cocktails & bluegrass by @thetimberrattlers 🤍 it was an evening full of dancing, smores, delicious homemade churros, speeches from loved ones & a jam session late night that set the vibe for the rest of the weekend. I can’t believe this was a year ago & would do anything to relive it just one more time!

captions are hard so here are 4 things that went through my head while making this post. one, I have lots of things I can’t wait to post! two, traveling with my husband to new places has been the best, most rewarding experience after having a baby & helps us connect in ways I’ll always remember. three, I love Boston!! its full on fall here & it’s such a cool city. four, get a fujifilm camera if you’re kinda into photography. okay that’s all!!

plot twist: our extra set of hands was also on the lineup!!

jackson capps, aka charlotte’s husband, played the whitefish songwriter festival. AND we brought him on deliberately, not because he’s married to charlotte, because he’s genuinely that good. because when you need extra hands, you find them!!

so for the festival our team did double duty: shooting the festival for our client AND watching one of our own take the stage in a town he had never been to.

we told you this one was personal. & what we want to show you is the real moments.

catch all the behind-the-scenes here.

if you’ve been here long enough, you know that Glacier & this part of Montana has held an incredibly special place in my heart since the first time I came. since jackson & I started dating, all I have wanted was to bring him here to show him why this place is so special. & today, we got to do that. 🥹⛰️ now even more of my heart lies in these mountains! pinch me!!! this is my life???

no one prepares you for the emotions that come with leaving the house you brought your baby home to😭🥹 this home holds more memories than I can even begin to count. but most importantly it’s where jackson & I fell in love, where we got engaged, found out we were pregnant, brought our baby home to & the place where our family began. the most bittersweet goodbye but I am so excited to pass this gem on to the next family to love. ❤️ forever grateful for Lozier Street. we will miss you but we are even more excited for our next adventure!!! Callan saying “night night house” at the end 😭😭😭

☕️☕️ & a good 📖 to start the morning on vacation

we love when Mae Mae comes to visit!! which almost always includes heading for Mexican & margs

taking 📸’s of him laughing is one of my favorite pastimes

only thing I like about the humidity in the summer is what it does to his curls!!!

coffee at home before a morning flight yes or no? (I’m talking an 8 or 9 am flight, not 5am)

spent 6 days home alone with him recently & this was the second time I’ve done it in the last couple of months & there really aren’t enough words to describe how much it fills my cup. he’s the light of my life & spending time with him truly is just so much fun in this season of life. I was also very ready to see another adult by the end of it lol

my mom & dad took Callan for the night at their cabin when we went to the lake for the 4th & let me tell you.. getting in bed knowing I could wake up whenever & not have to parent right after opening my eyes was lovely. & yes I slept with his bunny all night😂

the cox & capps boys!!!

highly recommend a fun sister-in-law

every time I pick this book back up, it’s exactly what I needed. book is you can heal your life- Louise hay📖

the determination he has for going through drawers he’s not supposed to is…🫠

learning to be kinder to this postpartum body (& yes, you are technically postpartum for 2 years after giving birth)
