Dance Spirit hosts Bar Franca in DTLA ON September 25th from 9PM-2AM in celebration of the release of our album ‘LUNATIC’ which drops the same day!

Bar Franca is even going to whip up a special ‘LUNATIC’ craft cocktail for the night!

We have also invited our friends Jackson Englund and Ayako to play b2b with each other, as we also celebrate Ayako’s birthday!

We will be DJing that evening which is always a rare treat for us as Dance Spirit, as we typically just do live performances. You can expect to hear a little of our music mixed in, but not all of it, because we have a VERY SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT coming for October 3rd in LA!

We are looking forward to seeing all your smiling faces at the end of the month!

4th of July shenanigans recap. Had some fun b2b’s with @lextacy____ and @jacksonenglund by the pool and in the fairy garden. Tried to make it to the beach but there were 12 cop cars and a helicopter outside the house for a manhunt so I took it as a sign to stay put all day 😅 Vibes remained immaculate nonetheless. Grateful for my friends old and new and hope you all had a fanfriggintastic holiday. I took a look at my ableton projects folder yesterday and noticed I have about 30 new demos I’ve made this year so far - record labels hmu for demos. This about 10x my previous productivity historically, all while starting my new coaching business and helping my father while he’s recovering from a bone marrow transplant. I don’t have much free time rn so I apologize if I have been a bit quiet here for a while but I do try to make time for what is important. That’s my update for now, stay sexi and have fun, life is short amigos - get to work and enjoy the journey 🤌🏼✨🫶🏼

“Neon Summer” by @jacksonenglund out now on all platforms.

Neon Summer’s bitter sweet nostalgia is an ode to those warm summer nights and adventurous moments that summer has to offer. It feels like a warm hug from your lover or best friend. A reminder to enjoy the moment, embrace love and to show up for your people when they need you.

With elements of indie rock, electronic, & synthpop. Neon summer creates an atmosphere that can be heard in many different environments. Whether you’re driving down the coast, hanging out with friends, or on your way to the next adventure this songs got you.

This summer anthem is a moment caught in time, Jackson Wrote Neon Summer when the world was at an all time high the last summer before the pandemic… The first draft was written on the floor of @lookintothewell art studio as they worked on their art together. That free spirit energy planted the seed. Though it’s been years since the inception it gave him the opportunity to bring on some extremely talented collaborators and finish this song to the best of his ability.

We want to show some love to @leecurtiss & @jean_michel_lapointe for their help with the production and mix down as well as @bissonettematt for his legendary re-recording of the bass.

Neon Summer is the third original release on Shadow Play Records. There’s much more to come throughout 2026, but for now enjoy the new single and have fun this weekend. Happy 4th 🖤❤️‍🔥
