Five years ago today on the road of life I was not met with a pothole nor a speed bump. I was faced with a cliff. The end of the road. As I close my eyes flying off the end of the cliff I come to terms that making it out alive is slim and being able to live life simple again was zero. I then open my eyes hours later back on a new road that was nowhere in site of the previous road I was on. God was not done with me and he sent his angels to not only break my fall but put me back on my feet to continue the road of life through his loving arms. I don’t write this for the attention or the affection. I write this to help whomever comes across this to be grateful for every day. Hug your family, friends, loved ones, take that risk, spend that money, send that text, take that leap. Be comfortable in your own skin and life will work itself out. Once you become content with being yourself you realize who your true friends are and the people you surround yourself with are there because they appreciate you. Work hard, be kind , and learn from your mistakes because everyone makes them. What defines a good person is not the mistakes that they make but how they learn from them. Thank you lord for your guidance. Thank you for my loving family and friends that have supported me through the potholes and speed bumps. You won’t be forgotten when there’s not a single crack or bump in a perfectly paved road one day. God bless🙏
