✨ OPEN STAGE NIGHT 4.0 + FREESTYLE DANCE-OFF RECAP ✨

WE ARE STILL NOT OVER WHAT WENT DOWN ON AUGUST 30TH!! 😭🔥

Open Stage Night 4.0 was EVERYTHING!! A night packed with movement, expression, creativity, and a whole lotta SLAY!!

We had performers from all walks (and apparatuses) of life take over the PDM stage: trapeze, aerial hoop, flying pole, silks, swing dance, voguing, pole and so much more!🕺🏽💃🏽✨

And then… our FIRST EVER FREESTYLE DANCE-OFF!! 👀🔥

No choreography. No time to overthink. Just movers stepping onto the stage, listening, responding and creating conversations through movement! All in the moment, as they were challenged and perceived by our incredible judges @donnaholiwod @jaclynchooo @mimzzlee !

And to everyone who pulled up at our studio: whether you were there to cheer on your loved ones, support the performers/movers, or simply to witness the absolute SLAYATHON that unfolded… THANK YOU!!! 🫶

And of course, the biggest thank you to every single performer and mover who stepped onstage and gave us a night to remember. You made the magic happen! ❤️‍🔥

Take a bow, babes! You ATE !👏👏👏

✨ PRACTICE LAB IS SOOO BACK, BABEZZZ! ✨

This term, Practice Lab is happening from Week 4 through Week 9 (except Week 5)! 🧪💫

🤔 Still wondering “What exactly IS Practice Lab?” 👀
Practice Lab is your space to explore, refine, troubleshoot, and make progress at your own pace, with a lil’ helping hand from mamas Sea (@ne_de_la_mer )& Jac (@jaclynchooo ) along the way 🫶

Think of it as semi-guided practice: you bring what you’re working on, and Sea & Jac are there to spot, guide, troubleshoot, and offer personalised feedback in a intimate small-group setting ✨

It’s not quite a class. Just intentional practice with guidance whenever you need it 💜

And this term, we’ve got a different flavour for every Practice Lab session:

🔧 Week 4 — Tricks Tune Up with Sea
🎨 Week 6 — Creativity Jam with Sea
🫦 Week 7 — Floorplay with Jac
🧩 Week 8 — Troubleshoot / Deconstruct Combos with Jac
🆘 Week 9 — Fix Me Please with Sea

🗓️ Refer to the post for dates & timings
👯‍♀️ Open to all levels
📍 Wiggle Room
🎟️ Sign up with 1 Drop-In Credit
📲 Book via the Vibefam App

See ya there! xoxo 😘💋

2nd round of the same performance at a different location. Equally had fun for both.
I was quite embarrassed for our first debut in viva, my voice sounded really bad hence I requested Jac to overlay my voice on her post. I also told Jac "if only I had a chance to redeem myself again"
Somehow we both manifested this, and there was a last minute open slot for @poledancemovement
Open stage night. Jac just initiate and put us in. Grateful for this opportunity again, adding on to do it at my comfy place.

Was never qualified to be a singer/vocalist. Basically just a bathroom karaoke singer.
But singing stage presence comes from the experience in my previous job, where I did gazillion times of singing during training with @drlawrencewalterng . Otherwise I wouldn't be this comfortable to syiok sendiri to sing, walk around, and with all my aunty demanding side 🤣
Adding on with a few gigs done with @dennisdkcw and @joshuaanthonygui that allow me to have more experience on proper singing.
Without them I wouldn't be up for this challenge, adding on with the attempt to swing on the flying pole and sing at the same time.

After years of not singing publicly, hence the voice isnt as good as it used to. Grateful and honored to have Jac to put so much trust in me on doing my part.

Of course since performing at our 2nd home. we ended up focus more on entertainment by being more Jakun. Tq to all the audience for being so kind and cheering for our last minute performance here. (FYI we did not rehearse doing this at PDM at all, so kasi chance la har, majority was spontaneous)
