Three months. They say it takes three months for a rescue dog to truly settle in and realize they’re home for good. Looking at Karoo now, it’s hard to remember what life was like before she arrived. She has become such an integral part of our daily routine, and we honestly just love having her around so much.

She is the absolute definition of sweet and snuggly, but she also has her hilarious moments when the zoomies hit and she gets all playful. She’s obsessed with wearing clothes and just wants to be wherever her daddies are. On top of all that, she is great with other dogs, adores kids, is so gentle with everyone she meets, and somehow manages to make a new best friend on every single outing. Seriously, everyone we meet is completely obsessed with her.

She has brought an indescribable amount of joy into our household. I truly cannot express enough how much love a rescue dog brings into your home. Shelters are so desperately overrun right now, and if you take the leap to adopt and rescue, you just might end up with the sweetest little housemate who looks at you like you hung the moon and adores you with all her heart.
