Made the trip to east Tennessee for the @collegebass national championship on Cherokee Lake. @jacobswanson_ and I finished in 15th place. It was a bitter sweet experience, we had enough weight to make championship Saturday, but unfortunately we had a dead fish on day one that cost us that opportunity. Overall it was a great way to end off a fun season with @jacobswanson_ . Going to try and keep this momentum rolling into this upcoming season. I also wanted to give a huge shoutout to @duke_lavis @kaden.raichel @peyton_sorrow_fishing @brodyrobisonfishing @parkerobryan_fishing @phillip_herring_ @daltondefelicefishing and @evan_ludlow_fishing3 for their respective top 15 finishes as well!!

Ventured into Virginia for the @collegebass event on Buggs Island. @jacobswanson_ and I wrangled up 32lbs over two days for a 12th place finish. This secured our spot in the National Championship this upcoming July!

After a subpar week in Arkansas me and @duke_lavis bounced back at Chickamauga with an 8th place finish. We weighed 18lb 2oz which got us qualified for the @mlfbig5official national championship in April. Congrats to the rest of the @montevallo_fishing guys for absolutely showing out this week. #outdoorsscholarprogram #secretlures

Made the haul from Arkansas over to Chick for the last @mlfbig5official event of the year and was able to bring home some hardware with a 5th place finish out of 250 boats, weighing 18-10. Very happy with how the week went and thankful to grab a qualifying spot for the upcoming national championship. Congrats to the rest of the @montevallo_fishing guys who had a great showing this week.

Me and B-Rob weighed 18.10lbs today on Lake Chickamagua in the @mlfbig5official college event and came out with a 5th place finish! This qualifies us for the National Championship on Wheeler in April! God sure was looking out for us with a last minute 5 pounder! Congrats to all the guys on the @montevallo_fishing team, 5 teams in the Top 10 is quite impressive. This team is something special! #bassfishing #bigbass #lakechickamauga #fishing @brodyrobisonfishing @outdoorscholars

Well, didn’t finish out my first year how I wanted to, but that’s how the cookie crumbles. We’ve been one or two bites away at the last few events from qualifying. Live and learn. Can’t wait for next year.
