POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The people around you don’t just run beside you — they shape you.

Iron sharpens iron.

The right brothers will challenge you, expose your blind spots, push you when you’re getting comfortable, and remind you of the man you said you wanted to become.

Running may be what brings us together, but the real work goes far beyond the miles.

It’s discipline.
Accountability.
Brotherhood.
Character.

Choose your circle carefully.

Run with people who make you sharper — and become the kind of man who sharpens them back.

That’s how warriors are built. ⚔️🔥

Proverbs 27:17

Some people will look at these videos and just see runners.

I see something different. I see people who showed up.

People who could’ve stayed home. People who had a hundred reasons to skip the run. People carrying their own battles, responsibilities, goals, doubts, and dreams — and still choosing to put one foot in front of the other.

That deserves to be recognized. Because every mile is more than distance.

It’s discipline.
It’s courage.
It’s proving to yourself, once again, that you can keep going when your body tells you to slow down.

And somewhere between the miles, the sweat, the high-fives, the laughs, and the tired legs… something bigger happens.

Strangers become familiar faces.
Familiar faces become friends.
And a run becomes a community.

That’s what makes nights like this at Ampersand special.

It’s not just about pace.
It’s not about who finishes first.
It’s about showing up, bringing your energy, and reminding the person next to you that they’re capable of more than they think.

So if you see yourself in one of these videos, remember this:

You didn’t just come out for a run.

You showed up for yourself.

And that alone is something worth being proud of.

Keep running. Keep pushing. Keep inspiring the people around you.

The miles may bring us together…

but the people are what make us come back.

See you at Ampersand. 🏃‍♂️🤝🔥

I cried when I got home! Last night, I truly felt the impact of the work I do. What a beautiful night; words cannot express how proud I am! 😭

Over 275 people attended our opening activation last night! ♥️ I finally had the opportunity to meet with some of the artists I’ve been corresponding with via email over the last few weeks. Art was being sold left and right!🥲 If you missed last night, we have two more events. Follow @tarrantcountyblackhistory for details.

Next door to us @400hgallery , Zona 7 had an INCREDIBLE show, “Sundays Best.” Shoutout to @willid420 @kelshareese.a.r.t for curating and hosting a fantastic opening!

Thank you @sarahrayala @sundancesquareart for making all of this possible!!!
