Posting this seven years later, with the same love for a country that has given me a thousand reasons to be heartbroken, but never enough reasons to stop loving it. 🇱🇧❤️

Maybe I couldn’t change my country, but my country changed me. It taught me to hope, to question, to stand up, and to keep caring, even when caring hurts.

Seven years later, I’m still proud of that girl. And despite everything, I’m still proud to be Lebanese.
