best Wummer ever!!

This summer has truly been such a gift! I have found joy in so many new things! But most of all, I have so much gratitude for the memories I made and the people I have met.

To my wonderful campers: You truly are so amazing! You guys have taught me so much about myself and were so encouraging. It was wonderful getting to watch you grow throughout the time we shared together. God is so intentional and has placed you here for a reason. I cannot wait to see where your journey here at Baylor takes you!

To my fellow leaders: I cannot begin to express the gratitude that I have for you all. I have felt nothing but support and love this summer. The hesitation I experienced coming to camp this summer was so swiftly washed away by the comfort that I was given by you guys. I have loved getting to pour into you guys and have appreciated even more what true love and friendship can mean. I thank God every day that He chose to bless me with people as resilient and kind and generous as you are. As Aristotle defines it, you are my Good friends. Thank you for being my Soul Friends. Love you big!!

a small glimpse into my summer as a line camp leader!!

TYJ FOR LETTING ME FIND MY PEOPLE HERE AT BAYLOR!! so blessed to have worked alongside so many amazing leaders this summer, each one of them is so intentional! they are such a light to be around! they have shown me how to love like Jesus, to be faithful even when times are hard and to give grace to others! thankful for how God answered my prayers by blessing me with 23 new best friends to do life with! And to my Baylor baddies, Barden bellas, Abella’s angels, Bella and a beat, and Abella’s beatboxers what an incredible joy it was to lead yall this summer as you find your home here at Baylor! I loved getting to know each of you and how joyful, faithful and loving you all are!! I can’t wait for all that Baylor has in store for you, and to support you through it all! so grateful for all the memories we made this summer!! I have so much love for line camp, these leaders and my groups!! Baylor line camp you will always have a special place in my heart!🐻💚

Wow. I can’t believe my time as a Baylor Orientation and Line Camp Leader is over. This job truly meant everything to me. Being able to introduce new students into a place I hold so dear to my heart was truly a dream come true.
Thank you to every single person at Baylor NSP for working SO hard to make sure that all of these students had the best experience!! Not only that, but also pouring into all of the other leaders consistently!!! To my cohort leader Meg, thank you for leading us so well.
Special Shoutout to my 242 leader @jaden_evans20 Y’all don’t understand how much he did for us behind the scenes!! He is such a great friend and supporter to others, and one of the most kind and thoughtful people I know! Thank you Jaden, for pouring into us so well, and encouraging us always! You are the best 242 leader we could have ever asked for.
I am so thankful for all of the leaders that I got to work with this summer. Guys, thank you for making me feel so appreciated and seen! All of your kind words made me feel so fulfilled, and I am so thankful for each and every one of you!! You all are an answered prayer, and I can not wait to dwell in community with y’all!! You don’t understand how much y’all mean to me!!!
To Cannon’s Kids, The Team, The Cannon’s, The Cannonballs, and The Grand Cannons(kaboom),and the snuggles(iykyk), you all are WHY I wanted to do this job. Getting to see each and every one of you grow in such a short amount of time, and become excited to come back to Baylor meant EVERYTHING to me. Each and every one of you 53 now mean so much to me. I really enjoyed being able to lead you and pour into you. Thank you for allowing me to do so, and making me feel poured into as a leader as well. “Consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you encounter various trials” James 1:2 This may sound a little different, but I hope you recognize it. The count off I had for you all. I hope you can continue to consider it joy. I am so excited to see all 53 of you in the fall!!! Please don’t be a stranger. You know you’ve got a friend in me:)

line camp is officially over, but friendship is not!

This summer truly was so transformative. I am so grateful to have found this community when I needed it most. Finding people who are so faithful, loving, supportive, and caring is such a blessing, and when you find people like that, you don’t let them go.

To the late nights in Earle Library, thank you for all of our delusional jokes and conversations that somehow lasted for hours. To the bus rides to Indy, thank you for Kareem. To our Friday debriefs that somehow always consisted of crying, laughing, and reminding each other how loved and appreciated we are, thank you. It was in all of those little moments that friendships turned into family.

You all have challenged me to be a better person, encouraged me when I needed it most, and inspired me to grow deeper in my faith. Thank you for celebrating the good days with me, sitting with me through the tough ones, and constantly pointing me back to Christ. I have laughed harder and cried more this summer than I have in a long time, and so much of that is because of each of you.

I truly believe you all were an answered prayer. God knew exactly what He was doing when He placed us in the same room, on the same bus, and in the same community. Without you all, I genuinely don’t know what this summer would have looked like or where I would be. Thank you for loving me so well and for making this summer one I will never forget.

You are no longer just people I had a class with, you became my family. I can’t wait to continue growing in our faith, our friendships, and all that God has in store for us. I love you all. 🩷

wow. i don’t think words will ever be enough to explain what this summer has meant to me or how faithfully God has shown up in every moment.

for so long, i prayed that God would place people in my life who would love deeply, point me closer to Him, and choose me just as i am. i prayed for friendships that felt safe, genuine, and rooted in something so much bigger than ourselves. i came to baylor hoping i would find a place that felt like home, but i never expected God to answer those prayers so completely.

every laugh, every late-night conversation, every prayer, every hug, every hard moment, every celebration, God was in all of it. He gave me a community that reflects His love so beautifully, and because of that, i am leaving this summer different than i came into it.

to each of you, thank you. thank you for loving me so intentionally, pushing me to be a better Christian, and for being an answered prayer in ways i never could’ve imagined. i love you more than you’ll ever know, and i’ll spend the rest of my life thanking God for every single one of you.

The sweetest summer, the best team, and the most faithful God. What a gift it was to spend this summer serving at Line Camp and watching the Lord move in the lives of so many people, including my own. Forever grateful for every single person on this team and for the privilege of serving His Kingdom together.
