National Black Girl Day Off is observed each year on October 11 as an intentional invitation for Black women to pause, rest and prioritize their well-being.

For women who spend so much time caring, leading, giving, supporting and carrying, rest deserves to be more than what is left over at the end of the day.

Over the next several weeks, we'll be sharing more about why The Giver 7 honors National Black Girl Day Off and how Choose H.E.R. — Honor. Empower. Restore. reflects our commitment to Black women's wellness.

Follow along and share this message with a Black woman who deserves space to simply be. #nationalblackgirldayoff #thegiver7 #chooseHER #intentionalliving #worthybydesign

Meet the hearts behind The Giver7 💜✨

Our board is made up of compassionate leaders who bring vision, purpose, and a deep commitment to serving under-resourced Black women and communities. Together, we create spaces where women can rest, reconnect, and be poured into — because rest is a right, not a reward.

Every event, every bag, every partnership, every moment of care begins with this team showing up with intention, humility, and love.

We’re excited to introduce them to you — the faces, stories, and gifts that make The Giver7 what it is.

Here’s to the ones who give with grace, lead with heart, and believe deeply in impacting lives and influencing the next chapter. 💜#thegiver7 #leanin #meettheboard

This weekend, The Giver 7 hosted our Inaugural powerful National Black Girl Day Off event— a sacred space for Black women to pause, reflect, and be poured into. 💜

Together, we embraced the reminder that rest is not a reward — it’s our right. From pampering and nourishment to reflection and connection, every moment was designed to honor the beauty of stillness and the strength that comes from slowing down. 🌸

A special thank you to our partners and supporters:
🥙 Sid's Services- for taking care of the food and beverages
💟The Melanated Cooperative- Decorations and ambiance
📲Foundation of Wisdom & Knowledge- connection with additional sponsors
💄 Lamik Beauty — for gifting each guest with a virtual makeup tutorial and products made with love.
✨ TKO — for massage therapy services
👨🏾‍🦱 Mega Beauty Supply- hair and skin product samples
🧘🏾‍♀️Synergistic Healing- Yoga and breathing exercises

We’re grateful for everyone who made this day possible — and for every woman who said yes to rest.
