Congratulations to our athletes and coaches who qualified for Quarterfinals this weekend!

Earned through consistency, hard work, and showing up when it wasn’t easy. Proud of the standard you set every day.

Nine years ago you made us Mom and Dad, and nothing about life has been the same since, in the very best way. Being your parents has been the greatest adventure.

You keep us laughing with your sarcasm, impress us with your athleticism and creativity, and every now and then you let that sweet, loving side show that reminds us our first baby is still in there. Watching you grow up right before our eyes is something we will never take for granted.

We love you more than you know. Happy 9th Birthday, buddy. 💙🎉

To be fair he was a 2nd overall pick so I would hope the majority of fans know about him but I know there’s definitely people who weren’t tapped in back then, Keith Van Horn was a 6’10 big who had an extremely DEEP bag and a very solid jump shot🔥 In just his first 3 seasons in the league averaged 20/7/2, 22/8/2 & 19/8/2 with the New Jersey Nets! Had a very solid rest of his career despite surprisingly only having one accolade (an All Rookie), He would have fit really well in today’s game 🤷‍♂️👀 #KeithVanHorn

Capital Athletics and Crossfit Schenectady welcomes Elena Budz into the Full time position of Operations Manager and Coach.

We are so Excited to have you!

A message from Coach Elena.

"Hi guys!!

My name is Elena Budz and I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be joining the team come January :)

I grew up in Cairo, NY and lived in the capital region for a few years before moving out to New Hampshire at the end of 2020 to continue my pursuit of trying to make it to the highest level in the sport.
I started CrossFit in 2015 and have been coaching since 2016. I’ve had the privilege to learn and experience from some of the best and I’m excited to help you guys grow and become a positive impact in your fitness journey.

I’m a huge believer in things happening exactly how they are meant to happen and I’m so grateful that life has led me back to New York. I cannot wait to meet and get to know all of you :) thank you for welcoming me!!!

Side note, I have a 5 year old golden retriever named kilo who is also so very excited to meet you all 🥹"

We are all so excited and happy to have you!

It was a blast as always 🏋️ The days where I’m surrounded by fit people and friends are some of the best in my memory bank.

Super proud of my man @guy_waltman and @acwalker38 and their podium performance as first time partners. 🏆🏆

Can’t wait to see what happens next year in the new @cf_houseparty location!
