As women in BJJ we bring our strength, our vulnerability, our doubts and our determination onto the mats. Some days we feel strong and unstoppable. Other days we feel frustrated, exhausted and doubtful. But there is something special about the bond between girls who train together. The connection built on the mats goes far beyond training. We understand the hard days, celebrate the good ones and support each other through it all. I’m grateful for the women who make this journey so meaningful 🏁 💖 #womeninbjj #teamwork #bjjlifestlye #friendship #womenempowerment

My Team!! To these girls who have been showing up, training hard, and chasing their goals… Keep going! 🩷International Women’s Day 2026🎀

A rare chance for all the ladies who train at any one of our Dragonzlair gyms to get together, Some have never been out of the gym they train at, some had never tried🥋Bjj and some had never done 🥊 Kickboxing Today you ladies did it all 👏🏻

stepping Foot out of their comfort zone and supporting each other through Martial Arts. Some are still at school or studying, many are mothers and the majority work full time. For whatever reason, all these women chose to start martial arts. “Let’s raise each other up” 🩷

Had the absolute pleasure (and privilege) of helping out at Richard Stone’s one day event yesterday 🔷The Project Management Blueprint 🧱💫

It was such a good day with keynotes from two of Richard’s mentees, Jagoda Duda and Jamie Jenkins, who shared how what they’ve learned from Richard has helped them get to where they are now 👏

Loved catching up with some familiar faces and meeting new ones too, the feedback for the event was just unbelievable 🤝

Most memorable moment? (No, not the 10k steps I did up and down the stairs with the mic 😅) but when the audience gave Richard Stone some totally spontaneous praise… the whole room felt it and you could see how much it meant to him 🥹🫶

Richard Grainger gave some invaluable advice about finance showing how much knowledge and experience he has in the industry.

There were people swapping details and networking like pros. The audience was packed with builders, trades, and property peeps all ready to learn and grow.

Honestly, if you’ve ever run or plan to run a refurb or new build, you need to know what he teaches. Trust me.

If you’ve got FOMO and want more info on his 3-day course or the next one-day event, drop me a message 🫶

My first BJJ competition. 🥉

A few days before I was asked how I was feeling about it and this sums it up :
“Mate I’ve already won. Whatever happens.”

Still stands, even though I got smashed in three out the four matches. 🤣

I do feel like I won.

I worked hard in the build up, on the mats and also in the gym. My metabolic age went down a year, body fat dropped 4% and muscle went up 4%.

In training so many things have fallen into place (not entirely sure what place they fell into on Sunday when I needed them 🤣 but I have definitely made progress).

And the biggest one.

I have never felt so supported before. It meant the absolute world to me. ❤️

I am so grateful to my training partners, especially the Rabbit, the Trevington and the Killa Bee 🐝 Very thankful to be coached by @mrsvnteam who really went above and beyond for everyone on Sunday - amazing woman, inspirational competitor, super mum and coach. And @road2jiujitsu who is always in my corner supporting me in so many ways, sunshine in human form and my literal guardian angel - and always there with best advice “stop holding her hand, it’s not Valentine’s Day” 🤣

Lot’s to work on. Onto the next 💥

Shoutout to Killa 🐝 @beata.molnar.507 the European Gold Medallist 🥇Yesssss Bee ❤️💥💥💥
