My mama called me gorgeous so it’s going on main! SOUND ON! @jahbiggins and I stepped out to open our second opera at @metopera, “Lincoln in The Bardo.” My brother @je.eps and sis in law @caseylymous came to witness. -My cape was conceived by me but fabricated by @marciemars. It features text from the Emancipation Proclamation and is styled to replicate the way civil war soldiers tied their camp blankets.

it has been a thrill and a privilege getting to physicalize @jortface 's ghostly apparitions in Lincoln in the Bardo at @metopera with this constellation of talents. A New York Times critic's pick! We all get dressed up for opening night last night to take some photos, then made ourselves look like corrupted writhing tendrils while the singers sang and pyrotechnics blazed and then bowed and got dressed up again! Took most of my outfit inspiration from @montanaleviblanco 's lush design on this Opera. Buttons from @loulou_buttons, bow and jacket from @fineanddandyshop team spirit by James Ortiz and Joshua Holden and Lileana Blain-Cruz

Late Night Puppet Talk Show had its first show in NYC outside of our basement. We took it to a backyard instead. Next time a venue?! The show is an hour long improvised piece of puppet chaos. And it uses mostly puppets that just found their way to us over time… or we made ‘em #puppets #improv #comedy #bob #puppets

I don’t have enough words for how amazing this past week has been. Seeing friends and their families from all over the world and all parts of my life was incredible.
