Had a phenomenal time last night at Holocene playing a live set with pals @ghostfeetpdx for Portland Music Month - the band played one of the best sets I’ve heard them play last night - raw, emotional, psych-forward. A great night all around. big thanks to @jake.m.jansen for the 📸. Can’t wait to do it again.

Theme: space! Bringing in spaciousness in instrument interaction and sound play. Perfect theme for the spacey rockers of Ashless.

Behind the scenes of Ashless and their Space prompt.

Nerd alert! I ran the horn through effects pedals! Something none of us had done before. It was thrilling to play with and added to that spacey sound for sure.

I’ve started stepping more into a producer type role and helping sculpt songs. These folks did an excellent job through open communication with myself and each other.

I think we all walked away having learned a few new tricks that weekend.
