At @jgcontemporary
20 Oct - 5 Nov
PV 20 Oct 5-8pm
RSVP with the gallery.

'For this occasion, the artists have chosen a more intimate scale for their works, enabling them to
narrate multifaceted stories and offer a diverse selection of experiences. The exhibition will also
feature larger pieces, providing a comprehensive insight into their individual and collective artistic
journeys. In Bloom is an exploration of both artists' ability to elicit emotional responses through their
art, allowing the audience to engage with each piece, unravelling the intricate layers of emotion and
narrative embedded within each piece and experiencing the harmonious convergence of two

GM! ☀️ Today we are sharing a bit more about the piece "Fade Into You".

A synaesthetic journey inspired by sound and art.
This piece, created in response to the mesmerizing track 'Opus 23' by Dustin O'Halloran, is a culmination of @jakeandrew.eth synaesthetic interpretation of sound as colour and texture.

Whether on a canvas or in digital form, his art reflects the way his mind perceives and transcribes sound.

In Jake’s own words: “Entering the web3 space has been a life-changing experience, not just for my artistic practice, but for the incredible opportunities and global community I've met. I've formed lifelong friendships with fellow artists from all corners of the world, bonded by our shared love for art.

One of those incredible individuals is Amir ( @mondoir ), whose unwavering support and genuine care for artists have inspired me immensely. Getting to know him personally and attending his real-life events has been a privilege I cherish. Working with him and having him represent my physical art is truly special”.

To aspiring artists entering this space, my advice is simple: Be authentically yourself. You don't have to live up to any expectations; instead, speak from the heart, share your work, and believe in it. The web3 world has revolutionized the traditional art scene, and despite the current bear market, we're just scratching the surface of its immense potential.

“A Study in E-major” by @jakeandrew.eth
2023

“This work is an aesthetic and aural study into the colour deep blue, which draws on the philosophy of colour theory. The piece evokes the tone of E-major within the synaesthetic capabilities of the artist.

Jake-Andrew transcribes his emotional experience of the colour first into an abstract and gestural painting, which he also hears as music at the same time as seeing. After building the score on canvas, he composes the sound into a score, which is later fused with a digitised and animated version of the painting.

Able to see in sound and hear in colour, the connotations of deep blue for him become multi-sensory and this experience is passed on to the viewer with his art. The art is framed digitally, as a reference to the physical painting from which this NFT was born.

The score transports the viewer to the aural dimension.

The physical painting will be sent to the winner of the auction if the price exceeds 5.4 ETH. Original painting dimensions: 120 x 100 x 6cms.” — @jakeandrew.eth
