The FFF Narrative Features Competition has long been a showcase for the bold and exciting voices working today. Featuring incredible new talent, alongside familiar faces such as Kate Siegel, Danielle Brooks, and Mike Flanagan, here are some of the Narrative Features screening in this year’s festival: ⭐️ Crystal Cross – A Christian singer and a suicidal dad drive cross-country, forging an oddball bond through bad decisions, bizarre roadside attractions, and a terrific all-original soundtrack. ⭐️ Damned If You Do – Years after selling their souls to the devil, a fractured group of friends reunite to escape Hell’s grasp before the contract’s deadline expires. Starring Kate Siegal, Harvey Guillén, Mike Flanagan, and more. ⭐️ If I Go Will They Miss Me – Twelve-year-old Lil Ant is a sensitive artist, enamored with the legends of Greek mythology and yearning to impress his emotionally distant father, Big Ant, who just got out of prison. Starring J. Alphonse Nicholson and Danielle Brooks. ⭐️ Junkie – 72 hours in the life of Stevie, a loveable, charismatic, but meth-addicted mom, who escapes court-ordered rehab to embark on an odyssey through the underbelly of the South to redeem her son’s love. ⭐️ The Plan – Inside a modest Los Angeles apartment over the course of a single unbroken take, a group of disillusioned young adults prepares for a radical act they believe will change the world. The 2026 Florida Film Festival takes place April 10-19. See more Narrative Features and grab your tickets at the link in our bio or at floridafilmfestival.com

Endless thanks to @filmquest and the tidal wave of overwhelming imagination and talent that crashed down on Provo for one of the most fun and inspiring experiences I’ve had maybe ever? . We went for the last three and a half days of the festival. Aside from an incredibly fun late screening of our movie on Halloween, I caught 7 features, 60 short films, 6 music videos, and 5 animated shorts, representing a vast array of voices and displaying universally high quality and an astonishing depth of imagination. . I was surrounded by passionate people who went out on a limb to make beautiful, moving, shocking, and exhilarating works of art. Those same people were supportive and fun, a number of whom felt like kindred spirits and who are now friends. It was just such a great community vibe, with everyone excited and curious about everyone else’s work. . Those of us in attendance to represent @damnedifyoudomovie also had the immense honor to take home the best Ensemble (feature) award on behalf of our absurdly talented cast. We are exceedingly proud. . But also? We genuinely felt like big time winners just being there. Like most people who attend, I am desperate to return. . What a treasure of a time. Thank you Jonathan, Jonna, and Richard. Thank you Emily. Thank you to every staff member and volunteer who make every moment of this festival feel special. Thank you Provo. . I adore you, Filmquest. I’m readier than ever to make more wacky stuff to share with you. . Photos by johnnycallme, @zvd.jpeg, ahhh @emilyanneashby thank you for the Q&A pic!!, @josephvernonreidhead thank you thank you thank you! . #filmquest #filmquest2025 #wearefilmquest #beholdthefantastic #thebestofthebest
