THE STICKMAN IS BACK and this time, the whole world is invited. 🌍

👇 TO JOIN, COMMENT YOUR COUNTRY + CITY.

In 2024, one runner drew a dancing stickman across Toronto.

One runner. One city.

Now, we’re building something much bigger: a worldwide animation created entirely from real GPS activities, completed by people in cities all around the world.

Every completed route will become one frame of the final film.

HOW TO JOIN:

1️⃣ Comment your COUNTRY + CITY below.

Examples:
Canada, Toronto
Switzerland, Bulle
Japan, Osaka

2️⃣ I’ll create and send you a custom GPX route in your city between 8 and 14 km.

3️⃣ Complete the route in one single activity.

Run it. Walk it. Ride it. Any pace.

4️⃣ Send me your GPX file and a screenshot of your completed activity by 15 November 2026.

No experience needed. It’s completely free and open to everyone.

I create the route. You bring one frame to life.

Hundreds of real activities will be assembled to bring the stickman to life. Several people can participate from the same city every completed route adds another frame.

THE MORE WE ARE, THE SMOOTHER IT GETS.

The earlier you complete your route, the better.

Follow @js_weiss and check your message requests so I can send you your route.

Each route is created individually, so please be patient you’ll receive yours as soon as it’s ready.

What will the stickman do next?

That stays secret until the final film is released… 🤫

Opening footage from Duncan McCabe’s original Toronto stickman project, used with his kind permission @dmcstrava 🙏

What to say about USSYP? If I had been told that in one week I could make lifelong friends, lasting memories, meet a supreme court justice and probably laugh the hardest I ever have, I would never have believed you. But, I did all of that and more at USSYP. Thank you to the USSYP staff for making this week happen. To the amazing Military mentors, especially mine, Captain McCowan. You all have made a lasting impression and given me an ideal and standard to strive for. To my roommate Arielle, who I am so lucky to know, and can’t wait to see the great things you do! To Grant for sharing not only an umbrella, but your friendship, jokes, and life saving water bottles. And Jackson for being a ray of sunshine, and the reason I tried coffee (never again) Thank you Mannie for sharing your magic, both in card tricks and personality. To my military mentor group, Snap, Crackle, Pop, for being the best, highest achieving ladies I have the privilege to know. To my Codelegate Marlo, thank you for representing WY with me this week. To Coach 2 (BETTER THAN YOU!!), there is no other group I would rather go around DC with, sing on the intercom (thank you Major Sprouse!), or avoid the back of the bus with. Thank you to all of my fellow delegates (and distinguished guests) for your words of encouragement, MANY questions about polarization, appreciation of my art and great conversations. Though many of you may not be pictured in this post, you are forever in my thoughts and heart. Thank you for Erin Lubin and Jakub Mosur for fantastic photographs that captured the essence of USSYP, and your compliments and encouragements. I will carry them with me forever. This has been a life changing experience and I hope to never forget it and that we meet again soon.
