From his first day of kindergarten at Denver Green School to the last day of Senior year at Cherry Creek High School! We’ve watched a child transition through every stage of cool, awkward, unsure and confident to become the man he is today! It’s amazing perspective to have had the privilege of raising a human through the years to help guide the way for the other 2 coming down the pipeline. And what big shoes both kids have to fill with their big brother as an example. The days are long, but the years are short. So proud of my son!

Rowan Hooper Lacey made his debut 4/26/26 at 10:53 PM at 7 lbs 12 oz and 20 1/4 inches long. He is absolutely perfect and we have all fallen in love already! Welcome to the chaos of the Lacey’s Rowan!

Beyond proud of our girl and how hard she worked today! She got gold in knife hand strikes, gold for fastest time in the obstacle course, and bronze for knocking out 2 of 4 targets.

We made a little more than memories in Croatia. We never thought in a million years we would have a baby without science helping us, but here we are. This little one barely squeaked in before James’ 40th deadline of not having more kids. You never know what hole a kid will fill in your life, and we can’t wait to see what place this one fits for our family! See you in April Baby Lacey!

So proud of how far J has come. Senior year is this crazy mix of emotions; pride, sadness, excitement. Seeing him in his full uniform finishing off his last season of marching band at creek was surreal to say the least. Love you J!

Our girl’s first day of pre-k! So excited for her to make new friends, grow smarter, stronger and kinder. It’s so surreal to have this girl in our neighborhood school right down the road. 7 years of Homestead Elementary starting out strong!

Happy birthday to this gem of a man. We spent the last of his 30’s proving that age is just a number and we get to choose how we act and feel in it. Every day he shows up for our family and is the best partner I could dream of in this life! Happy birthday to you @james.do.things
