Dracula: Blood & Glitter may be done. But our adventure is immortal. ❤️

This reading has truly been a lifesaver. There’s so much going on in my life right now that has caused me to be a ball of stress and in just some of the worst mental health space I have been in a while. Who knew that a little gay vampire story about finding yourself, finding your chosen family, and finding your own path in life (and the afterlife) would be such a welcome and necessary recharge.

Thank you to this cast, it was truly an honor to have such a literally all star cast bring my words to life. And of course, I couldn’t have done this (or most of the theatre I have produced over the past year) without the legendary @picklauren. My heart is so full.

Can’t wait to see what comes next with this show… after all, love never dies 🧛🏻‍♂️ @tier5theatrecompany

Hey YOU! It’s my birthday month (Halloween baby 🎃) and all I want for my birthday is for you to give a lil donation to @tier5theatrecompany & our 2025 season fundraiser. This compsny is so special to me, and I love creating, facilitating, and producing art that brings this community together, but I need some financial help.

These photos represent all the stages of me asking for money, lol

Sidenote, Donations are tax deductible so yay.

20 days til my birthday- I’d love to have at least $500 raised by then, the DREAM would be $1000 by Halloween. So, if you can, please consider supporting! More info about our Tier5 2025 season & how to donate linked in my IG bio 💚🩷

DRACULA: BLOOD & GLITTER
A Staged Reading
October 21st & 22nd at 7pm at @thetanknyc
Presented by @tier5theatrecompany

Fabulously adapted from Bram Stoker’s classic novel.

From Tier5’s executive producer and the playwright behind the company’s recent adaptations of The Secret Garden and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Canfield is taking the iconic tale of vampirism and making it gay, fabulous, slutty, and even more bloody.

When Jonathan Harker set out to New Transylvania on business, he had no idea that he would come face to face with the Prince of Darkness himself, Count Dracula. Irrevocably drawn to the Vampire Lord, Jonathan finds himself sexually and romantically entwined with the undead superstar. Meanwhile, his fiancé, Mina, sets out on a quest to defeat Dracula and save her future husband, but along the way discovers her own sexual awakening and inner strength that’s been tucked away in the proverbial casket. But will that be enough for her to defeat the Son of Satan himself? The stakes are high… and sharp.

Featuring all the classic novel characters explored through a high energy, horny, hilarious and queer new lens: it’s going to be love at first bite, bitch.

How did you get to be here? What was the moment? Eight years ago today I moved from London to NYC and have never looked back.

Yesterday was my first time performing in front of an audience in two years. The absolute longest I have ever gone without acting. To say I was nervous would be a gargantuan understatement. But I’m so lucky to have the most amazing creative team, the most responsible stage management, and the most unbelievably talented & supportive cast.

And a huge shout to my Demetrius, @itsmikitran, for taking care of me on stage every scene. ❤️
