I owe all of this victory first, and above everyone and everything else, to my wife Alizabeth she is more supportive than I have ever had a right to ask of her. Without the full support of her I would not be where I am at today. Next is to my coach whom I consider family Scott Brengel @eastweststrength the man has to deal with me sometimes hourly as my mind is a nightmare of doubt and redundant questions 😂 also @sean_demarinis who has been helping me with supplements and building my base numbers up , my nutritionists who are trying to do everything they can to help get me to the weight I desire and staying optimal for performance and longevity @eastwestnutrition and @big_hoff_man, my meals that are delivered like clockwork from @mrmuscles_mp and of course to my training partners and teammates because there is nothing better than having someone there to push you to your limits @oneforall_strength @26.davis @michael_nolan7

🚨🥇MEET RECAP !!!

Competed in my first powerlifting meet yesterday and I couldn’t have loved stepping on the platform more than I did. Reached many goals and qualified for USAPL TEEN NATIONALS!! Chicago will be seeing @benchafin and I in a few months🤩

Teen:3 76kg @18yrs old Went 8/9
352.5kg/777.1lb total // 69.848 IPF points

S: 275 lb Meet PR and Lifetime PR
B: 160 lb Meet PR
D: 342 lb Meet PR and Lifetime PR (vid 1&2)

SQUAT: Opened an easy first attempt with 242, easy 2nd attempt with 259, third attempt hit a smooth 275 squat. Before prep, my max was 250 and since then, a big goal of mine was to hit 275 which I did exactly that.
BENCH: Solid first attempt with 149 and second attempt with 160 (current max). Went for 170 my third attempt, which was the only thing I missed yesterday.
DEADLIFT: They felt absolutely incredible. Super easy first attempt with 297 and second attempt with 320. It was feeling SO good and decided to go for 342. That number wasn’t even a thought for meet day yet it ended up being such a speedy third attempt with more in the tank. Favorite lift of the day so had to show off both angles

Thank you everyone in and out of the gym for the tremendous amount of support that I received.💞 A special thank you @benchafin for being such a great coach and friend. He constantly teaches me something new everyday and has helped me turn into a better athlete. I give him a lot of credit for dealing with my over thinking and huge sensitive self. He’s spent countless amount of hours with me in the gym and has helped me reach my goal after goal. I wouldn’t be where I’m at in powerlifting if it wasn’t for him. Thank you @james_eerdmans for being such a huge help this meet. He was constantly by my side helping me left and right. I can get stressed so easily and man did he help make this day run smoothly for me. He’s been extremely positive, helpful and supportive throughout this prep and at the meet. Thank you @jackk.lifts and @adin.strength for being such dope friends and training partners during this prep. Jack absolutely killed it at the meet and Adin brought the positive energy and hype like he always does.
