4th place finish this weekend @strongmannationals

Just a little fella from Michigan who likes moving events. Pretty happy with the comeback finish. Not much more I could have done, just need to get stronger. Two event wins and fun and close competition.

Day One
585lbs axle squat x5
Max CDB 195, 210lbs
Death medley - event win
Nicol Stones

Day Two
725lbs axle deadlift x4
285lbs axle, 305lbs log medley
250-325lbs sandstone series - event win

Dallas is hot, bbq is probably not worth the price these days and @og.natty.freak.beast.wolff couldn’t stop crawling around on the floor

@californiasstrongestman did not go as planned. Ended up 10th out of 20. Far short of what I expected from myself. Mistakes on some events, and zeroing a deadlift for the first time in my life put me in a deep hole. Stones were the only event that went okay. Stones started with 275lbs and ended around 400lbs

@eastweststrength put on an awesome comp and I’m going to have to go back to redeem myself now. Plenty more comps this year to be had too

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, including first place 😞, but some videos made it out. @lasvegsstrengtholympics was a blast and a great show. Huge congrats to @bigblock1024 for the win it was an awesome time competing against you. And sweet to see @kongg_strength_ work a huge comeback to get on the podium.

Events:
Log for reps 275 x7 event win
Deadlift for reps 555 x14 event win
Yoke squat 475 x13 tied for fourth
Farmers 300 x50’ messed up and got 5th
Stone 330 last man standing- only needed a couple reps but Grant and I got a bit carried away in the head to head and I ended up doing 11 reps until we finally called it quits for an event win

Massive thanks to @cjpstrength and @coachclarke_ for coaching and diet getting me through three comps in 5 weeks. Probably not something I’ll do again but we did it and finished with three podiums taken in Las Vegas, Nevada by @james_eerdmans

Competed at The Battle on the Beach today. Only managed 2nd place but maxed out the keg toss height at 21’ as a consolation

@oharenickstrongman thank you for a great run comp as always

First comp back in a year a half and came home with a win. It’s been a long road to get back here after the pec tear, hip labrum tear, and losing 50lbs. But I’m Leaner, Stronger and Faster than ever with more to come. @rawstrengthstrongman put on an awesome comp and it was a blast competing against some strong dudes

Massive thank you to @cjpstrength for coaching me these last two years and getting me back in action and then some. Two more comps this summer and then a big 2026.

Huge thank you to @coachclarke_ too for getting me leaner than I’ve ever been these last few months. I feel better than ever, and gym performance hasn’t slipped a bit.

And lastly, thank you the everyone at @unrealfitnessgym we took home plenty of hardware today and have a lot more on the way in the coming months and years. If you want to get strong, get in shape, or compete in something, come join us

At OSG Dec 2023 I was 330lb max bloat lord. I tore my Pec tendon off the bone and had to have it reattached. After recovering most of 2024, I started a diet that has shed 50lbs of body weight since August.

Excited to see where things go with a couple of comps this summer. Size will be added back on. But I’ll never look quite the same

Rainier Classic was a fun weekend and I’ll leave with a 6th place finish, and a lot learned. Fun to finally compete against @taylordrol

Day 1

Scratched the log due to a knee issue

4 reps on the 735lb trap bar

31 points on the bag toss

Day 2

Event win on the 30 cal bike sprint and 350lbs bang carry

2 reps on the chaos keg

Finished with only 383 on stones, which is disappointing. Learned some needed lessons here so still a win.

Huge thanks to @michael_eerdmans for stellar coaching
@probodycoach for diet 👊
@physicaltherapysanpedro for PT and getting my back fixed in time to compete. taken in Burien, Washington by @james_eerdmans
