Take the time to educate your clients and I promise it will pay off in the long run! It took me years to get comfortable with setting realistic expectations for clients and now it’s almost the first thing I do 💕

the blonde spectrum is a spectrum (hope this helps)🚨

@stassiibabyyy has naturally dark greek hair, so her blonde is always going to throw a little warmer. It’s all about knowing how to work with that warmth and create a colour that complements her natural base, rather than trying to fight it every appointment !!

This is EXACTLY why the in-between foils appointment deserves a little more credit. Think of it like a season renewal for your blonde!

We support each other’s good financial decisions (they’re hair appointments, obviously)

Every blonde needs a brunette to enable her, and vice versa.

elle: extension install + colour by @danielletaimihair
anastasia: blonde toner + styling by me

Tag the serena to your blair and come get your hair appointments booked with us @jamesthesalon , we have the blonde and brunette duo supremacy to uphold, people !!

me pretending i’m not emotionally invested in how this blonde turns out after i’ve already planned the formula, analysed the foils and stared at the colour from 17 different angles!!

anyway… she’s the PERFECT blonde for summer (and all year round really)

I REFUSE to have people know I curled my hair that day 😅 especially with a bob and how much it can spring up!!
TIPS: take large chunks, curl away from the face and only do one twist! Keep the ends straight to allow for your length to remain angels 🫶🏻#creamyblonde #waveyhair #blondebob

there’s just something about fresh blonde hair that suddenly makes you feel like you have places to be.

need to go to the shops? absolutely.
coffee + bagels on Jetty Road? she’s there.
random errand that could have waited until tomorrow? suddenly VERY important.
drinks with the girls that weren’t even locked in before the appointment? locked in now.

Somehow, a fresh blonde makes everything feel a little more cinematic.

Technically this is just me doing your blonde.
Mentally, we reset the system.

Let’s talk conditioner… because this is one step you really don’t want to rush.

So for part 2, I’m showing you exactly how I like to condition your hair to get the most out of it - without leaving your hair feeling heavy or greasy.

It’s a small step, but it can make a BIG difference x
