Sorry if this cross post to Facebook for a double post of sorts, but normal links don’t work on the gram…

I found some time today and posted up a new report on our website for anyone interested… (Pere Marquette River conditions, Alaska and more!)

Head on over to fishbaldwin.com (link in bio 👆) and look for “August 24, 2026” for all the details…

We hope to see you soon, but until then, have fun, be well, be happy, please be kind when you can and stay safe always! 😎🇺🇸🎣🦅

We’re back at camp for lunch now, but this fish was just moments ago on the Naknek River! (Already have our limits so this one got let go. 😉)

Lots of action as usual and a big shoutout to James Johnson for putting up with us for a few days… 😅🎣👍🦅😎🇺🇸

Cheers 🍻 y’all, have a great day, take care and we’ll see you soon!

Alaska hosted trip alert!!

Last year I spent a week in Alaska at @katmaitrophylodge that I still haven’t stopped talking about. Giant rainbows. Bears everywhere. Ridiculously fun people. The kind of trip that somehow exceeds the hype.

So when a rare opportunity opened up for prime coho season this August, I couldn’t say no.

August 22–29, 2026, I’ll be hosting a group!

We’ll be fishing for silvers and rainbows, saying hi to the bears at Brooks Falls, and definitely staying up too late swapping stories.

The fishing is world-class. The people are even better.

Message me if you’d like details or want to join!!

An ode to the greatest saltwater season I could have ever imagined. Thank you @jamezjohnson for continuing to teach me your permit guru ways. I know I still have much to learn. To all the guides we fished with this season, thank you for the push, all the effort you put in and the passion you shared with us. Let’s go for more, SOON!
