Well, I mean… best work trip ever? Burnley has a way of bringing together some of the very best people and this week at TST really proved that. Forever grateful for this experience. We may not have won but the hard work was certainly worth it.

This week we spotlight not just a soccer player but also an entrepreneur Born on September 24, 1993, in Alta Loma, Rancho Cucamonga, California, Jamia started playing sports at the age of 5. She was inspired by her parents, who were collegiate athletes, and her older brother who was a dual sport collegiate D1 athlete and professional baseball player. Jamia pursued soccer as her primary sport at age 12, with the goal of playing professionally. She attended Florida State University and was a part of the Florida State Seminoles, winning 3 ACC titles and 1 National Championship. She was drafted into the National Women’s Soccer League in 2015, marking the beginning of her almost 10-year professional career. She was initially drafted to the Boston Breakers and went on to play for the Western New York Flash, Orlando Pride from 2016 to 2017, and the Houston Dash from 2019 to 2021, where she was part of the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup winning team. In 2022, she joined the Washington Spirit. Additionally, Jamia played in Norway in 2018 and Iceland in 2023. Jamia has ventured into the fashion world, as she is now the owner of Stoic Los Angeles, a high-fashion luxury streetwear brand.
