When I prepare a shoot, my initial storyline, may take me down one avenue. When I am in the location, my idea will inevitably change direction.
This one started as a modern and minimal #balenciagacouture vibe.

Once I saw the antique chairs, wooden floor, stark walls, I began to visualise a sort of stuck in a room that has no sense of time, so I'm always reliving the same day.

The clothes I'm wearing are mostly from the late 80s and 90s, with the exception of the accessories and the bathrobe.

I enjoy finding stories from what may appear to be a frivolous occupation.

Wearing secondhand pieces adds to the imagination as well

My photoshoot journey, is a mixture of creating a general feel of what I want from #pinterest and looking through my extensive wardrobe to put together a somewhat cohesive selection.

The personal styling choices we make, throughout our lives are usually formed in our teens and early 20s.

My fashion inspirations come from the 80s, as some of you may notice.
I've always loved the broad shoulder vibe, which has come and gone( thankfully for me, it's back 😉). The showing of the underwear is however a current on-trend addition, just to make it look more contemporary.

I did not think too carefully about this look, other than I wanted a simple, yet distinct outfit that is essentially me.

Thrifting is the perfect means to get a unique personalised outfit, as it will allow you to curate pieces, how you want it to be.

I visited a local shopping centre yesterday (#brentcrossshoppingcentre
) , in order to see if there were any #januarysales bargains. For the first time, I saw nothing that captured any inspiration. Saved me some money though.

I'm a style seeker embracing budget-friendly fashion, one thrifted treasure at a time.
Join my journey of curating looks that define my personal style

A black formal jacket, that is oversized, for me, is an instant cool-factor garment.
I prefer men's tailoring, because I have broad shoulders and long arms. Women's jackets are usually too narrow across the chest, which is ironic, considering we are more shapely in that area.

I'd love to know your thoughts on dressing in clothes that are assigned to another gender.
