Today’s nesting party was such a beautiful time. If you know me then you know.. Having intimate gatherings at home is my thing. I love bringing people together, and I love memorable, sacred moments.

For those who don’t know, nesting parties are gatherings designed to prepare the home for expecting mothers. After we ate and the kids played, we cleaned, organized, and everything in between 🤍

So thankful for the people in my life who have made space for my sorrow this season, but didn’t let me forget that joy still belongs to me..

I’m learning to make memories while still coping with the ones I’ll never get to make.

Grief has taught me to hold on tighter to the ones who are here with me. The people in my life will never wonder if they were loved well by me. My husband. My daughter. My friends. My family.

Even after loss, the Lord has given me so much 🤎

Chrissy is not only my middle name, it's my family name. Choosing Chrissy feels more in touch with the essence of my creative nature.

Every idea and vision I execute begins with a collage. My first step when I get inspired is to document the idea by creating a collage. This captures whatever vision is beginning to form from what I see in my head before I can articulate it.

last night, I attended my first-ever private movie screening for a film I was cast in. Though my role was small, my gratitude is immense. I thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for every opportunity. No matter how far I go, I will always publicly honor Him.

to my loved ones who showed up without me having to beg—you have no idea how much that means. Showing up is love in action. Support is not just about words; it’s about presence. People who choose to stand beside you in moments that matter deserve to be honored daily. I pray I never take that for granted.

a huge thank you to the entire team, the cast and crew, producer @rt.novak Ryan Novak, and especially to the director, @flickhousestudios Jose Navas. His passion for storytelling is inspiring, and his respect for actors and the craft is something I deeply admire. It was an honor to be part of this project, and I truly pray this film finds the doors it’s meant to walk through—because Jose deserves it.

last night was a humbling and beautiful experience. Surrounded by people who not only respect the art but also the hearts behind it—I couldn’t have asked for more.
