Growth needs people who give you space. That’s what this summer taught me.

I went further out of my comfort zone than ever before, and only because those around me trusted me to. I took over more responsibilities at @buchtdertraeumerfestival & @rebelliondertraeumer, finally played Fusion, and baked my first pizza (slide 11 lol).

Between all of that I spent a lot of quality time with my dear @sara_schpfl, visited crazy places and quiet places, and made time for my friends even though I’m working crazy hours. If somebody had told me this a few years ago I wouldn’t have believed them.

So I wanted to leave a thank you to everybody who made this summer so special so far! And it’s not even over yet. Next weeks will be packed with more festivals and gigs and I’m super hyped about it. I can’t wait to spend more time with all of you guys 🦑

See you around!

✨ Fusion Set Online

Behind the 8th door of our Advent Calendar is Janina -
she is working as crew in the festival & event industry.

Her biggest challenge?
Being FLINTA in a space that is, unfortunately, still largely male dominated.
Janina speaks openly about the ongoing issues women and FLINTA people continue to face in the industry - even today.

At the same time, she highlights the growing number of powerful initiatives creating safer, more empowering spaces for women in the scene.
@femquency @planet_disbluthek @missoir.de

One beautiful step she introduced this year:
FLINTA Walks
short walks during work to connect, breathe, and be real.
No masks. No pressure. Just presence.
The response was encouraging and it’s here to stay on future agendas.

Let’s talk about FLINTA in the industry.
Share your thoughts, experiences or reflections in the comments 🖤

#flintamusic #flinta #musicindustrytips #festivalproduction #festivalcrew #crewcare #technolife #youarenotalone❤️
