Wake surfing with friends! This week I finally gave wake surfing a try and felt like I picked it up pretty quickly. Can’t wait to get back out!

I also have been in a creative slump lately and haven’t taken my camera out as much this summer. I brought it out on the boat to try and get some shots of friends surfing. Felt good to get back behind the lens.

the final Roam Fest making me feel all types of way. so happy that it existed, so sad that it is ending, so hopeful that more can follow in its path, but also, feeling a bit empty until then :(

over the past few years, Roam has been where i’ve been able to be around the most womxn of color. and even more than that, womxn of color who are defying the status quo by taking up space in inherently white, male, spaces in the world of mountain biking.

the joy that i’ve felt in this bipoc community has been unmatched. and the understanding, my god, the communal understanding of being around womxn who GET IT! get what it feels like to take up such a space! how hard and heavy it is! how unrelenting it is. how joyful it is when you’re able to do it. its so rare, at least for me as a woman of color living in wyoming, to feel that level of connection and understanding from my peers. it’s so rare and so dear, and feels especially fleeting in today’s climate. maybe that’s why it stings more, because it feels like so much is being taken away these days.

@thisisroam made something really special, and i already feel its absence. let us go out and create the communities we wish to see!! ❤️‍🩹

Roam fest was an incredibly uplifting and restorative experience and I'm so grateful that I made it out ✨

Rode with the most BIPOC folks I've ever ridden with at once, did my first wheelie (thanks @angiweston!!!), reunited with dear friends, and made incredible new ones 💖

So sad for the end of this era, but deeply grateful for all the relationships, experiences and growth (and sick tat) that @thisisroam has gifted me!

We couldn’t resist joining the Shenseea dance while celebrating International Women’s day at Stevens Pass with Edge Outdoors!

For three amazing days, we embraced our rich diversity, representing women from Jamaica, China, Pakistan, the Philippines, America, Mexico, Ethiopia, El Salvador, and the Mariana Islands. Together, we formed a vibrant sisterhood, taking up space on the slopes and honoring our unique backgrounds. Here’s to empowering one another and carving our own paths! The strength of womanhood shines bright!

✨What a night!✨ Our last Snowsports 101 at REI was pure magic—community, connection, and learning all wrapped up in one incredible evening.

We’re so grateful to everyone who showed up to learn, share, and just be in this space together. A huge thank you to our amazing @rei partner and to Javi from REI for creating the space for this exchange of knowledge, experience, and pure stoke. This is what community education looks like—rooted in joy, inclusion, and the power of showing up for one another.
