It’s race week!

We’re lining up our biggest field yet, and whatever the weather throws at us on race day, we’re ready.

RTD26, bring it on!

It didnt take me long to complain about all the people on the trail. There was an unexpected Dub festival down in the valley where we parked, reminiscent of Cape Town energy. The route, I had assumed would be quiet, being so high and remote. Things easily made more sense though, once we started to understand the beauty of the terrain around us.

Up high on the Hochkönig sits Matrashaus - Pip had found us one of the most exposed huts in Austria. Beautifully perched at 2941m/asl it overlooks some of the best alpine terrain we have felt in the Eastern Alps.

Pretty surprised and very honoured our episode 1 for Most Dirt Wins has been nominated at the Motor Film Awards. The quality of work at the show is top drawer stuff so it’s an honour to have our work alongside it. The biggest reward was the sheer amount of fun we had on this job at every turn, but a bit of industry recognition is always lekker too. Huge love to the humans who pulled this together at every turn. @peugeotsouthafrica @stellantis_official

South Africa’s fourth oldest town.
Far from everything. Warm like somewhere you’ve been before.

Robert Sobukwe, formerly Graaff-Reinet - and in @te.water.house a venue that feels the same way.

Registration happens here. So does the shakeout ride. So does dinner together after the race. All included in your entry.

Make desolation your destination.

Come and race or ride.

“Future Tense” directed by Jenna Cato Bass will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in the centrepiece program. #tiff2026

I’m very grateful to Kiva Reardon who put me across Jenna’s work shortly after we met at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. Los Angeles was on fire, and I was entering my mid 30s, and reading Octavia Butler’s 1993 novel “Parable of the Sower” set in a 2020 in which society has largely collapsed from climate change and wealth inequality. I was asking myself why a novel from thirty years ago had more to say about how we live now than most of the movies I was seeing. Jenna Cato Bass’s work fills that cinematic gap. She employs genre filmmaking to represent the injustices of the past and present and to imagine our evolution. I’m very proud to be an EP on this movie.

From the logline / festival copy:
“In a volatile near-future in which tourists use time-travel to escape to the past, a couple’s relationship is put to the test when one of them decides to change history.”
