POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I’ve been a part of so many gatherings in this room, but last night was something special.

We spent so much time planning, talking through ideas, and getting everything set up. And one of my favorite things about what I get to do is helping create an environment where people can do what they do best.

From the band and singers on stage to the production team behind the scenes, I love seeing people have the freedom to be creative and bring what they do to the table.

But what made last night different for me was actually getting to experience it. Not just making sure everything was working or thinking about what was coming next. I got to stand there, take it all in, and enjoy it.

Hearing “Owe You Praise” in that room was something else… Last night was a reminder of why I love doing this.

Grateful.

30 Things I’ve Learned in 30 Years of Marriage ❤️

30 years of loving, laughing, fighting, forgiving, growing, and choosing each other. I don’t have marriage figured out, but I’m looking forward to the next 30 with you, @jarrettstevens. Here’s what I’ve learned:

1. Marry someone who LOVES God and follows Him.
2. Keep God at the center. You need an anchor bigger than yourselves.
3. Pray together and FOR each other. Especially when it’s hard.
4. Let faith shape how you forgive, serve, sacrifice, and love.
5. Marry your best friend.
6. Marry someone who makes you laugh. A lot.
7. Marry someone you want beside you when life gets hard. Because it will.
8. Marry someone who takes responsibility. Blamers eventually blame you.
9. Agree on wise principles about money.
10. Choose someone committed to personal growth.
11. Marry someone who sees your worst and loves you anyway.
12. Choose someone who tells you the truth, even when it hurts.
13. Become someone who can HEAR the truth, even when it hurts.
14. Fight fair. Your spouse is not your enemy.
15. Chemistry matters. A LOT. But chemistry without character won’t carry a marriage.
16. Marriage is 100/100 personal responsibility, not 50/50.
17. Lose the scoreboard.
18. Lose your ego. Being right isn’t worth destroying “us.”
19. Every rupture needs repair. Choose humility over pride.
20. Protect the friendship underneath the marriage.
21. If kids come, don’t lose “us” raising “them.” Keep dating your spouse.
22. Let your kids see you love each other. Give them a REAL marriage.
23. Learn your wounds. Your spouse can’t heal everything in you.
24. Your spouse isn’t responsible for your happiness.
25. Keep choosing each other. Again and again.
26. Hard seasons can deepen love when you walk through them together.
27. Don’t stop touching, kissing, flirting, or pursuing each other.
28. Turn toward each other in the little moments. That’s where great marriages are built.
29. Give each other room to grow and become.
30. Build a life of shared purpose—faith, family, generosity, service, and adventure.

30 years later, I still choose you.
