I’ve called myself the founder of Known for 10 years.

At the start, calling myself CEO felt ridiculous. CEO of myself? Managing Director of myself? Seemed stupid.

But things have changed. Known has grown, the team has grown, and I probably need to grow too.

I can’t be in every detail and lead from the top. I can’t be across everything and have proper strategic oversight. And as the business grows, strategy matters more than ever, because strategy keeps people in jobs.

So maybe the next stage is learning to step out of the detail, trust the team, and take up the title I need to.

A pretty special one 🥈

We’re so excited to share that we took home Silver for Best Small Agency of the Year at the UK Agency Awards.

A brilliant night celebrating with some seriously talented people from across the industry and a great feeling to see everything we’ve been building at Known recognised, from our integrated offering and creative work, to the culture and people behind it all.

Most importantly, it’s a nod to our amazing team who bring the ideas, energy, ambition and care to everything we do.
