When you tell people you’re a professional esport athlete, you’ll get the usual remarks of ‘ all you do is sit down and play games’, no one sees the hours you put into perfecting one skill or the hours you spent reviewing matches to get better, I’ve seen a snippet of what coaches do, sitting behind the screen, analysing hours of game play to cook up strategy... You’ll figure out soon enough that being a professional gamer isn’t just a hobby, it becomes a full time job... Follow me as I walk you through my journey and what it takes to become an Esport athlete #lordjayff

I’ve been here from the very beginning… Infinix Masters Series in 2021, Red Bull M.E.O Season 5 and everything in between.

6 long years.

I’ve spent most of that time building communities, managing teams and just trying to make something out of this esports thing I love.

It hasn’t been the fastest growth, but looking back, we’ve come a long way.

Wouldn’t have done it without the community, and a shoutout to my amazing players at Paradox Gaming for helping make the dream of attending the Esports World Cup 2026 a reality.

6 years and still going.

Retirement speech?
Maybe
Maybe not

Which role is more important??

The most important role in an Esport team is NOT the RUSHERS... Alil roles are important, but lookout more for support players, they’re the anchor of every team... #lordjayedit

(The ending was intentional, let me know if it shouldn't have been added)

The behind the scenes of Esport

Everyone celebrates the final result.
Few people appreciate the work that makes the result possible.
Esports has shown me that championships aren’t built on match day—they’re built in the weeks, months, and years before the lights come on.
I’m enjoying every part of the journey, especially the parts most people never get to see.
I've been managing and hosting tournament for years now and I can tell you playing the game or match day is the easiest part, the main work is the planning stage #lordjayff

Had a great moment with @ahl.hawk and @remind7x from @alahliesports
You can admire players from a distance, but connecting with those who understand the pressure, the work, the wins... that’s different.
Esports is a universal language, and it shrinks the world.

You know, every event has that one person who's always behind the scenes, making sure everything runs smoothly, but hardly anyone knows who they are.

For me, that person is @delaina_k

When she came up and introduced herself, I was honestly shocked. I'd seen the impact of her work at so many events, but I never knew the face behind it all.

It's funny how some of the people doing the biggest work are usually the least recognized.

Much respect to the people who don't need the spotlight to make the whole show happen.
