4.5 years working with this guy . @j.e.newcombe . He’s pretty damn autonomous now after my mentoring . Manages his offseason himself etc . Keeps quiet does the work And concentrates on business and life .

Shame the show was cancelled, but that’s life and more important things are at hand in this country than bbing currently

So many guys come to me and say they want to be pro . James wasn’t any different , I remember rolling my eyes , another one , James was very young at 21 , he definitely wasn’t at this level back at the start of 2017 BUT after 1 year he was , he was very different in his approach to being coached and could easily be taught . The DNA needs time , this won’t ever happen to most who have this dream , you can be a good national or state level competitor and that’s more than okay. Don’t drug abuse to overcome your genetics for a cardboard card and potential ruin your life financial and your health in the process . It’s all about progression no matter what genetic level you have . And that’s what we’ve done

Straight into pro shows next year after March. Straight freak show coming early next year .

Stay tuned .

When you focus on helping others life gets better. Clients, friends my partner over the last 3 years it’s been enjoyable seeing others do and be things they never thought they could and win in life where it counts . Far too many have a one dimensional focus for the stage , their lives suffering in the real tremendously , very little self belief, body dysmorphia and little to no success professionally with a thought process that your body will make your life better and get you out of this hole, this is a huge issue in the industry currently , steroids aren’t the pink elephant mental health is... there are very few role models !

How do I know this ? I’ve been there , I’ve been victim to many of the things above , playing victim ! even having a skill set I developed over years of legitimate study and prepping people yet never used it to the best of my ability wasn’t enough... common sense isn’t common when you make emotional decisions with your body . I was forced to take a step back in what would be the biggest blessing after last competing in 2017. I fixed myself , I sort help , there were serious issues I was neglecting from my past which indeed lead me to wanting to compete .
There are many concurrent issues with prep coaches , lack of knowledge , too much self focus , ped addiction , body dysmorphia the list could go on and on .... I phrased myself MENTOR due to there being little to know role models actually trying to help athletes with their body and mind in relation to contest preparation all the way through to obesity and the serious mental health issues affecting almost everyone... and actually being legitimate with knowledge and experience and results .
I’ve said it before fix your mind before you grind .
The thing I have missed most is something I feel you need to be the best and an attribute not many poses . That knowledge of what it feels like to go without the struggle of prep...this week it’s finally back and SO AM I.... 11 weeks ....it’s been a while.
Nb the pics are from 2016.
