WARNING: Going for your goal is risky.

You will be challenged.

You will be really uncomfortable from time to time.

People will tell you that you are crazy.

Most people won’t believe in you.

They might even gossip and laugh at you.

You will find out who your true friends are.

And some will show envy and the need to talk about you or try to crush you.

Maybe you will be stretched financially.

You will even fail from time to time.

Sometimes the failures might feel huge.

Eventually, you will be forced to change so that you can BE the person who can hold the goal or dream.

You will have let go of your own ego, fears and limits.

The old you will melt away.

And as it does, you realise all of this is happening FOR YOU.

It is the necessary path to release all that was not serving you, not healthy, not aligned with who you were created to be.

You see, there is nothing that will shed parts of the clutter and crap in your life like a big, deeply aligned and beautiful goal.

It is meant to do that. It is nature in its full force helping you become who you were created to be.

The challenges and discomfort are a gift.

And it takes courage to go for your big goal or dream.

It takes a deep self respect.

The caterpillar is never comfortable in its period of transition.....yet the butterfly gives it beauty, wings and a freedom that it could never have imagined whilst it was the crawly little caterpillar.

So, what is more risky - finally going for the deep desire and goal that you were created to have or staying in status quo?

You choose.

Reach out if you need help. Goal achievers have a support team. Make sure you are choosing the right team for you.

Happy Sunday! I had a good day. I'm working on bringing Beauty Blends by Mel to all current and future clients. Today, I had a mineral powder class, and it was awesome! It's been a while, but I'm making this my primary business. It's my business, no association with other companies, just me. So I'm working on the lot's of things, but I'm also very intentional with my decisions and not moving too fast.

Liquid & Suffle foundation, mineral powder foundation, setting powders, blushes, and more coming soon! To everyone who has supported me with my salon & services in the past, thank you! I'm bringing my passion, education, and excitement to offer these luxury services who's ready to blend with me virtually and future in person blends.

Have a great week, my friends!

Thank you, @jellotellomua
& @jaxxmakeup for the awesome class today!

It is ok to feel you are struggling some days.

No matter how resilient you are, there will be days (hopefully not many) when things feel like they are just “too much”.

There is an internet culture that states you must be upbeat and positive all of the time.

This is simply not true nor is it natural.

Although you want to be lifting your vibration and positive outlook, forcing positivity when there are good reason to feeling like it is too much, when you are grieving or going through a tough time, can be toxic.

From time to time, it is ok to not be ok.

It is natural.

Here are some things that help me during these days:

🙏 I know my trigger points and I try to build boundaries.

Even with these boundaries, when it feels like it is too much:

🙏 I spend a few minutes in stillness. I practice a heart centred breathing technique for a few minutes.

🙏 I share the overload with a trusted friend. It is ok to say “I am struggling” or “I am not Ok”

🙏 I cry if I feel like I need to do so. I am a crier. I actually think crying during times of burden and overload is healthy. I sometimes cry on happy occasions too btw.

🙏 I rest if I need to rest.

🚀 If the feeling persists after the above, I start lifting my vibration. Not because someone told me that “you MUST be positive all of the time” but because I want to balance the e-motion (energy in motion) and make sure I do not stay in the feeling of overwhelm or “too much”.

I have learnt (and it hasn’t always been easy by the way) that in every difficulty, there is a precious gift.....you just need to search for it.

2025 has been one helluva year. Despite (surprisingly) very little time up in the air ✈️, this year was Fade In’s best yet. Grateful to all of our amazing partners who trusted us to tell their stories, and to our ever-expanding team of filmmakers we’re lucky enough to collaborate with to bring those stories to life.
.
To all of our Fade In friends - wishing you and your families a healthy and happy New Year, and can’t wait to turn the page to 2026. 🥂 #happynewyear #2026
