‭‭📖 Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭8‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) “Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask Him!” ‭‭ 📖 Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬-‭30‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) “Then Jesus said, “Come to Me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you. Let Me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” Give it to Him y’all, be blessed 🙏🏽 #Godisgreat #allglorytoGod #christianity #Godsplan #letitgo

📖 “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ ‭AMP‬‬ During this season of Lent, I’m giving up 3 things, not to receive anything materialistic from God, but to receive wisdom of what He wants for this season of my life and in my life in general. I desire a better clarity for what He desires for my life to be to bring Him glory. I understand I need to want to make my wants His will. And I hope and pray to do just that! Happy Ash Wednesday y’all 🙏🏽 #Godisgreat #allglorytoGod #ashwednesday #lentseason #christianmen

What’s Up with This Blue Bass? @jay2country sends in these wild pics from North Carolina—what looks like a blue-tinted largemouth bass. Ever seen one like this before? No? Me either. But I did fall down a rabbit hole a few years ago about a so-called “blue pike.” Best guess in that case? Diet-based pigmentation—likely from eating a bunch of crustaceans. Crustaceans contain astaxanthin and other pigments that can build up in fish flesh, sometimes affecting skin and scale color. This lake is about 50 miles from the Atlantic, so it makes you wonder: Could these bass be feasting on shrimp, crayfish, or even fiddler crabs making their way inland through brackish creeks or bait releases? Fish like this make you realize how diet, environment, collide in weird ways. This is my best guess. Think I’m right?

Representation matters. Please follow these amazing outdoorsmen and women that inspire me to keep doing what I’m doing. FYI IG only lets you tag 20 people and some are mentioned in the comments. Introduction To Fishing workshop for the @bubjacksonhuntingpreserve at the John E. Pechmann Fishing Education Center was a success 🥳! Fishing educator @jay2country led a majority of African American outdoorsmen and women into the shallows and even venturing out to the deep end of the fishing world! This could not have been pulled off without the assistance of fishing volunteers Sharon Carr, Hector Gonzalez, Nathaniel VanScoy, Marie Burghardt, and Rick Fayssoux. Some participants had previous fishing experience before, and others were brand new to the sport of fishing. Either way, everyone left with newfound knowledge and enthusiasm to continue their fishing journey 🙌. The day ended with everyone catching multiple fish on our ponds and realizing that the tug is a drug 👏. Great job, Jay 🤝! 🎣 🎣 🎣 #fishing #diversifyoutdoors #womenwhofish #catfishing #bassfishing #ncfishing #panfishing #diversifytheoutdoors #community #summerfishing

Tink said it best when she said “Somebody Real Is Hard To Find”! It isn’t too often you find a genuine soul who doesn’t lie, is completely transparent, who doesn’t want anything but the absolute best for everyone around them, to help others heal from past traumas, and to build a stronger relationship between communities 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼! @day.crich and I have been following each other on social media for a little while now, and it was a wonderful opportunity to meet someone who has the same objective as you, to see more people of color get into the sport, tradition, and heritage of fishing and hunting, as well as spreading the gospel of a Jesus Christ 🙏🏽! We were able to finally meet in person at the @nc_fishing_education_team while I taught a special Introductory To Fishing workshop for the @bubjacksonhuntingpreserve 👏🏽! She came all the up from Conroe, Texas to Fayetteville, North Carolina to attend this event and let me tell you, her presence did not disappoint! I can truly say everything positive that you see on social media and on news outlets about her is absolutely true, and if you happen to see anything negative about her, it is a total lie! Daye, I’m thankful that you put yourself out there on social media and in the community to be an example of what a woman is for other women and young girls to look up to, because representation is key ✊🏽! If y’all do not follow Daye already, you need to! She is a breath of fresh air, not just for the outdoor community, but also for the world! The world needs more women who are rooted in God, community, and outdoors like Daye 🙌🏽! Let’s continue to be the hands, feet, and mouthpiece of God 💪🏽! 💐 💐 💐 #Godisgreat #allglorytoGod #fishing #hunting #northcarolinafishing #texasfishing #womenwhofish #womenhunt #nchunting #diversifyoutdoors #diversifytheoutdoors #Godlymen #Godlywomen #disciplesofChrist #handsandfeetofJesus

“People can plan what they want to do, but it is the Lord who guides their steps.” ‭‭-Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭9‬ Sometimes the episodes on @kayak.konversations don’t go as planned, but they always go as needed 🙌🏽! Off camera while we were having camera difficulties, without me even asking, @yakalacky_outfitters wanted to tell me her testimony of her life, but then felt the desire to record from the cellphone to tell everyone about how she felt with me on the kayak! I’m overly thankful that this space I created for everyone to feel safe and comfortable in is here and serving its purpose 🙏🏽 FULL YOUTUBE VIDEO LINK IS IN MY BIO ⬆️ ✨ ✨ ✨ #Godisgreat #allglorytoGod #mentalhealth #femininity #mentalhealthpodcast #kayakkonversations #transparent #vulnerable #meaningful #authentic @distinctlyfayettevillenc @cityoffayetteville
